I had my kit in the box for a week and read about the mods, thought about them and decided against it..... pit my kit 90% together this morning in about 45 minutes, there is a lot of shaping and trimming. I will attach my progress so far for you to compare

Yeah, star wars has been in my blood since i was about 8yr old...... done several comic cons and the UKG blew me away every time but last yr visit to Birmingham Comic Con and a chat with Marc...... he said dreams don't die on their own ........ never was a truer word spoken

Been reading and reading and reading..... almost information overload, but defo worth it!! Downloaded a tech drawing for the scope rail and dropped it off at a metal fabricators today...... hopefully they can come good before the weekend ..... if not its parts from BnQ with a hammer and file job!

Was toying with the idea of cutting a template out of masking/frog tape...... but will try grey and use a finer paint brush

Its never gonna be screen accurate and probably wouldn't clear but Ears redone and got traps outlined in black

Where in the UK can I get ABS paste? I think its the acetone i need, the wife has some false nail remover but I read somewhere that won't do?? Any help please

Not got a full armour yet so no build thread, this was bought from DA to use as a test of my build skills before taking the plunge on a full kit, so any advice(constructive criticism) is greatly accepted

The lower screw fixings pulled thru the plastic ...... anyobe know if it can be filled and redrilled

OWell it was going so well....... but u have managed to dogs breakfast one of my ears...... If I can't replace them then it's destined for display ...... it was after all to test my building skills....

Pencilled what I think are the "trim to" lines, when I fix it all together the brow line is getting pulled out of shape.....

I was mislead by the ebay listing for the magnets...... thought they were gonna be a lot bigger....... so had to stack em to get a hild between the to parts of the lid!!

Glad it gets a thumbs up.... I'm taking it easy trimming a little at a time, can always cut some off, can't cut some back on
