  1. UPDATE:
    Review of original Shock Trooper model is in-progress;

    Question, why does it seem like I have an ESB set but with the single posterior section (as opposed to the separate posterior sections)…?

    My understanding was they made 50 new troops for ROTJ. Is that right?
    If any of the ESB troopers were brought into ROTJ as backups, this may be based on one of those.

  2. Thank you everybody, for your thorough response(s)!

    @gmrhodes13 OK, time for me to make a second pass on references. This is the reason for no adhesives used yet;

    @IcyTrooper Yes, that's possible. I don't have a lot of info about the armor, but it's from one of the first instances in which measurements were permitted to be taken in the Archives. You may know more about that history than myself.
    Finally I grabbed the Anovos TK Shock helmet which, ironically, is ANH I think...
    Will do, thanks!

  3. Team at WhiteArmor,

    Attempting to post pictures here is turning me into a kowakian monkey lizard.

    Temporarily, please refer to this link for my first shots of this beginner's build - lmk if the link is broken!

    Note: Of the many items needing attention, where to acquire the needed ROTJ parts is my greatest concern.
    Any guidance in this regard is welcome!

    Sincerely
    kwac94

  4. This post will contain pics from my first ever build, TK Shock!

    I've been told that the Emperor is most displeased with my certain lack of progress.

    Objective: Ensure the suit is WEAR-ABLE, then work out what needs replacing.

    I did this for a reason.

    You will see Velcro, unpainted parts, no rivets, and everything else that deviates from guidelines.

    It's not my fault!

    Will update shortly;

    Regards

  5. Greetings users and staff at WhiteArmor,

    This is kwac94, an aspiring TK Shock from CA. I hope this finds you all excited for the upcoming Halloween season!

    It's about time for me to gather some photos together and humble myself before a group of reliable builders.
    Please let me know where it's best appropriate to post in-progress builds.

    Here's my status:
    1.) Not yet in local garrison;
    2.) Have a considerable to-do list of things needing to be fixed or replaced entirely;
    3.) Visual progress is yet unseen by 501st members;

    I am hoping that I can generate some guffaws and good-natured amusement, as this has been quite an interesting project!

    Best Regards,
    kwac94
