  1. Hello there I’m requesting access to the forums please. TK-13715 http://501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=27957 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Approved! Now to try and finish up for EIB and maybe centurion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Submission sent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I’m in the process of making some abs paste to seal it up. I wasn’t happy with the epoxy I had used before Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Took the suit out for a test run tonight for Halloween. The ammo belt came loose as did one of the shoulder bells. Also seems the torso still is sitting high even after I changed out the strapping. More work to do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So I returned that mic and got another one that worked like a charm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. This is as good as I can get it. Will this pass? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’ve put plastic weld epoxy and some abs pieces for support. I’m hoping I can paint and sand this so it’s not too obvious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hopefully I can sand this down snd paint it so it’s not too obvious Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Where can I get abs paste? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I’m so bummed. I was trimming down the right thigh to fit a bit better and it cracked pretty badly on the back. I’m going to try to apply some PlasticWeld and hopefully be able to sand and paint it. What a bummer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Test fit of the whole thing. I forgot to put on my neck seal in this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I trimmed down the top a bit so at least it appears to line up along that top edge. I'll try it out and see if it works.
  15. Received my Doopydo conversion E11 today from Richard O'hara. Looking great!
  16. Test fit of the shins with boots Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Put my last cover strip on the shin piece. I should be ready for a fitting tomorrow night to see what other fine tuning I need. So close! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. One thing I've noticed is the gap between my front and back pieces is bigger than I'd like it to be, especially for the higher approval levels. I know that fastening the belt tighter can help with that, but are there other good way to close that gap?
  19. At some point I would like to try and go for the higher approvals for this build, as that's what I've been working towards with the way I've been assembling. It's likely putting the cart before the horse, but that's my ultimate goal. Any tips based on what you guys see currently that I should be thinking about for those? I have read through several EID and Centurion build threads so have a good idea of what will be asked.
  20. Yup. I’ve tried and sized with the boots previously Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Still a lot of touch up work to do but here we go. Shoulder bells obviously need to be higher, the brow trim was slipping off, and I need to put the cover strip on the right shin, but overall it’s taking shape. The right thigh looks weird to me too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I’ll try sanding that down. Hopefully that helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Fixed the cover strips and added the ammo knee. I’ll add some scrap to the back to cover in that gap at the bottom. Thigh #2 gluing overnight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yah. Someone told me that on FB as well. Not a big deal. Thanks for the heads up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Definitely. I think I got a little glue happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
