  1. I am glad I caught it now. I been pouring over the Armor of phasma. and I am becoming an phasma expert. I just started 3d printing my phasma build. I am starting with easier stuff like her pistol(from 5th horseman) and quicksilver baton(that I modeled, woo, I modeled something!) in its compact form. FYI the two things that changed from TFA and TLJ are the gloves and the spats are now standard Stormtrooper spats. I think I will make both spats. and Gloves to switch between the two. Also I plan to do a death trooper phasma. I am vacuum forming my 3d prints. Can you message me about your build? I would like to hear about it.
  2. I am also posting this in TFA Phasma discussion. So the CRL for TFA the upper sabatons(the armor pieces on the boot) are pictured with incorrect placement. the top edge should go under the spats not on top of it. It always looking wrong to me but I just figured it out today. They were displayed wrong in the prop show. Scenes in the TFA shows with it under but also showed with it slightly over. I think they are meant to be placed under like every other set of sabaton I have seen on every other suit of amor. I think that during shooting they had a tendency to pop out of placement because of the method of attachment. Its shown here slightly above and then below the spats. Lastly if you look at the visual dictionary for the force awakens, it shows the sabatons under the spats. Same for the TLJ visual dictionary. So that's my reasoning for why the spats have incorrect placement. ------------------- PS all the toys also show the sabotans under.

  4. The I would like to add more detail for the collapsed quicksilver baton since I just finished extremely accurate 3d modeling of the baton. The collapsed version should be about 2 foot in length and 3/4 inch in diameter. It should have 3 cut outs of varying length that should be 1/2 in width. Inner cut 4 in, Middle cut 1 in, and outer 3/4 in. 1in between the inner cuts, 1/4 in between the inner and middle cuts, and 1/2 in between the middle and outer cuts. The taper for the point starts at the end of the last cut out. Which should be about 5 in long. It looks like the extended version keep the same length of cut out and space and the taper is the same length. Here is one half for demo: [_.5"_( 4" ).25"( 1" )_.5"_(.75") ______5"_____> Do what you will this info. I would say use it for L2/L3 check off.
  5. I can put a rounded edge but I dont think that is accurate. I was going off this which is the actual prop. But I would suggest that when preparing it, that you take off the edge of the cut outs just a touch. It is designed to be printed out twice as a half and then to use finishing nails as guild pins. This is the not extended version of the baton. And as I was finishing I realised that its too big for most 3d printers. So I am go back and cut it in half and add in some more holes for guild pins. I might do the extended version in the future but I like the ideal of this one for trooping.
  6. Well Since I couldn't find Phasma's Baton I made one. I chose to do the collapsed version, its still a work in progress. But it should Be a screen accurate as you can get without casting the OG prop. Its 24.5 in in total length and a 3/4 in dia. If you find this is wrong, If you have better info please let me know So I can correct it. Happy printing. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2829420 Edit Updated the Baton it now 4 parts and will fit most printers, YAY. Have fun!
  7. Hi I am still a 501st recruit but I know Phasma very well. TLJ Phasma is the armor that I am starting off with. I been trying to figure out the new chest plate It seems that its cut higher up definitely not the same cut as TFA. But It could just be in my head I am sure they switched to the standard, I have not actually measured it out yet to be sure. I been looking over every second of TFA Phasma that I can. I would be happy to add my input. If its wanted.
