My advice is RESEARCH, RESEARCH, & RESEARCH. Whatever your building…. Take lots of pictures and discuss it with other members…..

I never saw your build before today and am LOVING that latest update with the white paint. Seriously impressive and a gorgeous set of armor.
As for bucket build, I recently re-worked mine and posted in my thread. I think this is the right link. I didn't wanna yuck up your thread with pix of my own stuff. Check the pic then my description should make sense.
Basically, my whole bucket is lined with velcro. The top side has fuzzy and the rest has hook. No pad on the top. The fuzzy is all my head needs for padding. I used to have a pad on either side in the upper head area. My ICOMM and amp sat on either side of the head near my ears. I use one of those cylinder USB packs and it sat in the very back of the bucket behind the UKSwrath plastic fan holder thing. This configuration worked and everything fit, but the weight was low and that battery at the back slowly tugged my helmet back and obscured vision.
So I removed everything and relocated the ICOMM and amp to the top in place of the padding. I gave the outside some fuzzy velcro as padding and was amazed that the helmet actually fit better and more securely. My head touches both boxes and the forehead padding and matching back padding (can't really be seen) keeps things comfy. The weight is now all up high which makes the helmet feel lighter as it isn't dangling around my ears anymore.
The USB pack got relocated to behind the vocoder. It isn't totally hidden like before with the back mounting, but it balances the helmet much more nicely. It's much easier to swap out and charge. And it keeps a bit of forward pressure on the helmet so the eyes aren't migrating up my forehead.
Wiring: 2 wires from the ICOMM run straight down and around the back. Then they go up to the am in the same path. The USB pack has a plug right there at the side basically behind the speaker tip. All the loose wire hides behind that fan mounting plastic.
Does that help at all?
Omg …. Yes it … it really does….. ty so much .

Thank you all for your ideas, it seems those cases with the wheels seem to be the most liked, will sure have to pick one up!
In other great news, my handplates finally arrived! Our Aussie post took weeks to deliver them thanks to COVID-19, to the point I thought we lost them. But they finally turned up. These were the last piece I needed to get to complete my TK for approval, no need to get anything else!
These handplates were made by our good friend justjoseph63 who has been very helpful throughout my build! Thanks mate, legend! I got two sets, one for me, and one for my dad. They are very good quality:
JUSTJOSEPH helped me out ALOT. I too have his silicone hand plates !!! They are awesome!!! U cannot go wrong with JUSTJOSEPH !!! Kudos mate.... now let’s get u APPROVED !!!

I would recommend aligning drop boxes just a little more towards the furthest wedge.
I believe your ears on your bucket are sitting a little to high and need to be a little more & to an angle...
Are your back traps painted or stickers ?
Your abd buttons need to be repainted ....
The same abd plates are a little too big...
Please take this as a sincere critique, you will get your EIB, ty for sharing your pix, your armor looks good so far.

Can you have pix front view instead of ANGLED from the top and keep them consistent, also Please include all pix needed for EIB, please as stated earlier, makes it easier for the DO Team to evaluate your armor, Ty.

Is it a good idea to paint the inside of the helmet black?
I strongly recommend it .... I also recommend the plasti-dip.... it looks DIFFERENT AND YOUR BUCKET STANDS OUT....Sue it for pure AESTHETIC REASONS...
If you wanna go that route....
I did... and I NEVER LOOKED BACK....

Hello fellow Aussie!
The boots are from Kmart I think, they are made from what looks like a kind of vinyl. These where test shoes, but I used Satin White Accent QUICK SPRAY Paint & Prime Enamel.
Here https://www.glyndemitre10.com.au/store/product/quickspray-flat-white-310g-accent/
But we are already experienceing lots of cracking and splitting on the boots, and one of them we sprayed lots of coats, so the vinyl is really hard, can be tough to get on. I my see into getting proper boots from a boot seller, but I haven't looked where to get a good pair yet. Thank you!
If I may suggest IMPERIAL BOOTS , they are made of leather and the BEST BOOTS EVER !

You narrowed down to RS and AM which are two completely different suits in every aspect.
RS movie accurate more expensive thin plastic = more fragile for trooping made for slender troopers
AM not movie accurate less expensive thicker plastic = solid for trooping but less comfortable designed to fit larger troopers
RS and most suits that have movie lineage are pretty narrow at waist unless you wear approx 34" pants, AM is better suited if your on the heavier side but not movie accurate so all depends whats your priority, the main problem with movie lineage suits are the waist and thigh sizes and the reason I extended AB/Kidney molds on my AP kits so it can fit up to 41 pants size, I basically added 3" extention on AB and kidney plates so you can trim them down to your exact waist size without the need of adding shims. Also most people have a misconception, the thicker the plastic is not necessarily more durable actually more prone to crack since there's no flex and way less comfortable to wear, you want the parts to flex when you move around (thicker = less flex) and also softer details when forming, too thin is not good either you want the best of both worlds accuracy/durability!
Mark (AP)
Correct me if I’m wrong, RS also makes larger kits for dad bods ... ???
