  1. Took some initial fitting pics since it is easier to see what adjustments need to made with the wife unit wearing it. The big things I have noticed is:
    * snap plates on the side should be closer for a tighter fit.
    * I am going to need to trim down the butt plate to fit her better.

Any other things I can adjust or redo? Any help is appreciated. 54a6cae1565b755c5c963306dd60ea8c.jpg05102a02850afc2aa620f91d6943d974.jpg83672c81409d527e05f089f39c2c2d52.jpg86cfb5b6d341360e0f34ce492b180ad9.jpg

  2. Thank you both for the help. I have finally figured out how they go. I also watched the Trooperbay video on the calves. So, I can start assembling those.

I have also made more progress on the wife's armor (test fitting below) and have another question.

What is the best way to attach the ammo belt to the canvas belt? I have been looking through the threads but cannot locate this.a44a1e02ce6c0ef7b5c4e040d47e67bf.jpg

  3. If you will notice on the below image the screw holes end up almost vertically and the angle of the lower half of the ear angles backwards

If looking at the helmet from the back as you wear wearing it, your image the one on the left is the left ear and one on the right is the right ear.\

13 tube stripes is optimal but you can have less or more, from the CRL:

Tube stripes are medium blue, should be 13 per side, but can be 9 and 16 per side with the curve bends extending backwards.
Thank you that helps a lot.

  4. Hi there,

I'm Jason from Northern CA.  I am currently a TB and am finishing my TS. So, I was looking to start researching for a new kit soon.  I will be scouting around the site and will have lots of questions.  I am a big guy (6'2" and 340 lbs).  Being big makes it hard to create the correct fit and appearance when it comes to the armor.  I also struggle finding shoes/boots.  So, I will be searching to see if the armor is adaptable for a larger trooper.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
