    Hello and welcome to the FISD. Something I often recommend, is to get in contact with your local Garrison. You currently have no location info in your profile, but if you let us know where you are living, we can help. Meeting these people will help you in so many ways and seeing armors of different makers in person, really trains your eyes for the small variations and details.
    I second this advise, I reached out to my local outpost at the start of my first build. Having local support accompanied with advice from the forums and you'll be a Stormtrooper in no time.

    Hi Manuel, you've found the right place to start and for your info the base build of a Shock Trooper is a Return of the Jedi TK so that is always a good thread to check out as well.

    I'd start with reviewing the CRL, link below and check out other builders threads.

    Hi Future Trooper, the best place to start is in the New Recruits section of the forum. It has lots of useful info to answer many of the questions you'll have, including where to purchase your armour from.
