Hello Ely and welcome! You've done the first step which is joining and posting here! Ask questions, do research, and don't buy anything at a whim. Everybody on here is real helpful, so use the forum often. Welcome to an amazing world!

Hello and welcome! You'll find that any post you put in these forums will generate a lot of helpful advice. Everybody on here is great! Good luck!

Do you have Velcro or something on the front to keep the front of your chest attached to the abs? Then it won't all pull down the back. Pictures would help, but it's probably a simple fix.

Wow, tip of the cap to all involved. Proud to be a part of such an organization.

Wow, that's awesome. Thank you. I also have done a fair amount of foul words (didn't work) and spitting (also didn't work)!

Of course, that said, I just checked your link above and their stuff looks mighty nice as well. Probably can't go wrong with either, but I'd be curious to know if anybody has seen the Inland stuff in person.

Lights and sounds are nice but my personal opinion is that leads to more kids asking if they can hold it. Not a problem if you are ok with that, but something to keep in mind.

Welcome! I'm 5'10" and weigh about 220 and have pretty broad shoulders. You shouldn't have a problem getting armor that would fit. My shoulders are almost too broad, but that just means my shoulder bells are a little further away from my chest armor than I would like. Still looks pretty cool and most kids and fans don't really notice.

Hello Daniel and welcome. I bought my armor from an existing member and bought it complete because my priority was joining the 501st and doing charity events. Once I had the armor, I have learned how to repair it and am in the process of building a scout trooper myself, so I can experience a build. Amongst my garrison, and perhaps the whole 501st, people are just happy to have another trooper at events and I haven't sensed any negative opinions about buying a completed set. Everybody has been amazing,

The bottom line is, do what you are comfortable with and remember, it's all about fun and charity!

That's a valid theory since my ANH TK would split if I tried to recreate any action shots, such as walking down stairs too quickly! Lol

That's awesome! I wish I was in Denver. Do you know if it's a traveling exhibit?

I think you may be on to something. Very fun!Aaw, i'd love to see more threads like this

How about instead of 'first past the post', there is a deadline date, with the most 'likes', being the winner?

I'd offer up a prize myself but don't really have anything relevant
