Hi Steve. Daryl and I are in SW WA. You near us? Welcome to the group!
-
Hello Jon and welcome! Good luck with the build. Can't wait to see it.
-
Hello Rob and welcome. Tons of people ready to help you on here, so you've come to the right place! Good luck finishing your build. We're always excited to see a new trooper join the ranks.

Agreed. It was very well done. Too many stormtrooper deaths, but, what did I expect?!? Lol

Very sad indeed and still so young. She will be greatly missed.

Hello Cash. Glad you made it over here. I saw your post in Cloud City too. Everybody here is very helpful so ask all the questions you have. Make sure you do your research before you buy something so you don't end up frustrated. You'll be trooping with us in no time!

Good call. I have the same questions so I'm going to follow your thread.

You've come to the right place for help. Good luck in your alteration/build, and trust me, it's all worth it when you can troop in it!

Hello and welcome. To mirror what was said above. If ROTJ is your passion, then go for it. We were all in the same place of getting started at some point. I started with an ANH TK because of the availability and am working on a biker scout now over on the Pathfinders forum, because I love ROTJ as well, and like the idea of being able to sit down on longer troops! Anyway, welcome to the group!

Hello and welcome! Post up some pics of your armor and show off your work!

Yes to everything you said! Seems like the stormtroopers went down a little easy but the death troopers put up a bit more of a fight. Just loved it all around. So many winks for the fans and that new droid was a highlight as well. Looking forward to trooping tonight at the theater!Just got out of the cinema and WOW, what an incredible journey! Loved the story arc, I felt invested and cared deeply as each of our characters met their fate. So moving. Beautifully shot, and the technology from ILM behind recreating Tarkin and Leia while not 100% photorealistic was stunning. It was definitely good enough that it didn't pull me out of the film. My wife didn't even actually realize that Tarkin was not a real actor. That's an incredible feat in VFX!
I'll also echo sentiments above that I missed not having the big STAR WARS at the front w/ the scroll, replaced instead by the sort of underwhelming 'Rogue One' title. Meh. Also, I would've loved to see the troopers (all types) be a little more respected and worthy a nemesis. Got annoying seeing the film almost poke fun at how easy it was to take down a stormtrooper.

Wow, very cool. I never realized so much of the armor was sewn on. Going to have to watch your progress!

That twinkly pic is awesome!

That's a great deal! Thanks for sharing!

Well, I just sent in my deposit in for a set of AP armor. The journey begins!
Awesome! Welcome to the group!

Lots of factories for a huge army. This seems to make the most sense. During most of our wars (on earth) this has been the case for clothing and kitting our soldiers.I just say that armour was built at factories throughout the expanse of the galaxy and your look depended to some degree on the locale of where it was made. You can justify inconsistencies that way.

That's a pretty cool costume. It's about the only action figure for the new movie on the shelves still. Thanks for sharing.

After seeing this post and thinking about it awhile and then checking out the Inland Empire FB page repeatedly, I decided to go ahead and order one. Can't wait! Lol
