1. Mark,

I really am in that I want a stormtrooper outfit asap mode. But the reason I was asking for a cheaper variant is, because if I get the higher end correct ones, I feel like I wouldn't weather it, nor add anything to it and try to keep it pristine as possible. I want a cheaper variant for display that I can weather and look extremely battle worn, use a dremill for cutting holes in the armor etc. if I get the higher end, I wouldn't even touch it.

  2. Where do I begin is a good question. I've read several threads, and have done research aswell, but hopefully I can get a more up to date answer on several questions I have.

I am not a member of the 501st....yet. When the time comes for becoming a 501st I will be purchasing the RS Prop Masters, Stormtrooper kit, since it is highly recommended across this forum. In the mean time, I am looking for a kit that's pre built ready to wear out of the box, doesn't break the bank, and for the most part looks the part (minus the accuracy required for the 501st). Something I can weather, wear, display and have in the man-cave. Does anyone recommend a certain vendor or can point me in the correct direction?

Also weathering / paint blaster marks, does anyone know where I can find a video tutorial of how to do blast marks? Ive seen it done with spray paint, but I don't feel comfortable doing that for a number of reasons. Again any help on that would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

  3. Finally got my first voice changer and amplifier (hytechtoyz). But since I unbowed it last night, it's been nothing but a problem. They microphone & or the voice changer box does not work at all. Then the amplifier box did work, until I decided to see how to mount it in my helmet. After that the wires to the battery were ripped out of the socket.

I contacted the seller for a refund or new set. Looking to see what he has to say about it.

  4. Thank you, and I do love your idea of the Trooper on Endorsing having to adapt. I never did any type of weathering before until I got these two buckets.and I was surprised how well they turned out with no prior experience (so naturally I had to coat them so it would stay for good).

I've never really thought about doing a death trooper. I am open to the idea and possibilities. But I would like to do a kamikaze stormtrooper. I've seen someone do it with a clonetrooper and it looked amazing so I would love to pursue that next. But as I said before I'm open to the deathtrooper as well.

The only issue is getting money to buy more buckets. I love weathering and painting them to were I would do it initially for free for people until it got going and even then I love it so much that I would probably charge for paints and shipping only.

  5. Hello,

New here to the group (less then 24hr since I created the account) so If I am posting this in the wrong section of the forum please delete and let me know where to properly post. As of right now, I have 3 EFX ANH Stunt Stormtrooper Helmets. I got the first one last year for the Midnight Relase of "Star Wars Battlefront". And since I've been stationed in Germany I got another two.

I decided I wanted to do something different with the helmets, that I haven't really seen before. Dont get me wrong, the cookie cutter look fits the Imperial forces well, but I felt like in places such as Endor, the white stuck out to much. So I did a paint scheme on the bucket to what I felt would give it a better fit. Something similiar with the Clones, who had paint schemes, designed for their combat environments, and to show pride for their units.

Here is a Picture of all three, the one on the far right was my first bucket, I redid the inside, paint, added padding, made new lenses, voice changer, hovi tips, (fans, and newer padding are the next purchase to complete it). The other two I purhased together, I also redid the insides and added new padding to them as well. I had someone offer to buy my first one, but I wouldnt allow it. But I do feel in the near future I may do another!post-29925-0-81810000-1475568768_thumb.jpgpost-29925-0-22592200-1475568791_thumb.jpgpost-29925-0-84912600-1475568804_thumb.jpgpost-29925-0-56359900-1475568835_thumb.jpg

Any input, opinions, discussion etc i would love to hear.

  6. post-29925-0-88377300-1475567657_thumb.jpgHello, Cbass59 here, and would like to say thank you for having me on the forum. I'm currently in the Military and am Stationed in Germany. I currently have three EFX ANH helmets and would like to continue the collection and one day get the full kit.

Two of my helmets are customs,as I did complete different paint schemes for them. Something not ever seen with stormtroopersome as it was with clonetroopers but I love how they turned out.

Star Wars is something I grew up on as a kid, and it was always there for me and kept my imagination running wild. I hope to learn alot from you all and look forward to input, ideas, discussion etc.
