  1. Just pics as I was working through it for example. Not detailed but starts after initial cutting, more sizing etc. After a good cut and sand close to what we need Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Kevin, I am working on AP also. I think the biceps do not have a return edge at the bottom. AP kit had lines you can see where to cut. Look around to be sure on the threads. The ab and cod are long. It will take work to get it down to size. Do not do trimming on that Ab and kidney without test fitting and taking a ton of time. What I did was get help and did a test fitting with tons of painters tape. Took pics and such on where to line it all up. I carefully trimmed to where I had more material than my marks and worked my way to fitting. I am a small short guy with a small gut. It took some work. Take your time. Measure a lot and try and cut once. I do tend to cut less and work down. takes more time but its helped me on the parts get where I need. If you cut too much your in a bind.
  3. I'm horsesing around testing the Velcro. The sniper plate is still not attached. Been having issues with Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A few things were done over the break. Making snap plates to place double snaps. Velcro on the back of the legs was complete and tested out. Placing of snaps on abs, butt, kidney, and cod began. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Ok here are the angles. I have it held I place with Velcro right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ok I am a smaller guy with smaller shins and calves. If you did AP and have some pointers on what to do let me know. The sides of the plate have no contact surface to the legs. They angle outward. If you can share what you guys did for yours please do!

  9. Test fit on torso and thighs. Right thigh is what I corrected see photo above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Lining up the kidney and an plates. Had TK11989 help me out on this. Lots of taping and lining up and using tape from marks to cut along. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thigh fronts. I redid the right one by cutting the outside down and using heat iron to bend down a little edge. I'm not very good at that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Forearms I have had done awhile. Here are only pics I have from the process and completion. Same process all use. Trim down. Size a lot. Sand etc. clamps mostly for holding E6000. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. So thighs I found some that got approved the way I had them so I left alone. Attaching cover strip pics here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Does this thigh on right side work or do I need to line up the tops? This is what I am redoing. Trying for centurion and o can only find where right side is expected to see misalignment on AP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Things are ramping back up. I do have detonator completed. Thighs - I messed up on cover strips and shoes them to match unevenness of the inner and outer clam shells. So gonna tear those off and start over. Going to try and make those clamshell parts align at top by doing minor trim and create a new return edge. Then will have a bette cover strip. 19. Hello everyone. I got my kit on Thursday from AP. I am in full excitement mode and yet overwhelmed. The kit was purchased as untrimmed. So i am starting the trimming process while I am still gathering other tools, materials. and ordering other items. I am hoping to get good feedback from you all as this progresses. I will be trying to keep everything I can updated here as this moves along. progressing will be slow as I am super busy in the fall. Anyone with AP that trimmed that can tell me what you used and steps etc would be helpful. I have started on forearms. So I am short guy on the 5'7'' side 170 pounds. Kit is AP untrimmed.
