looking good mate, nothing to do with submission but i would add some felt strips to the metal clips on your TD last thing you want to do is start scratching up your Armour after all the good work
-
no real issues throughout my build normally quite responsive and helpful, like PBrimer said they may have had a lot on with SWCO have you got a commission or self build ??
-
Welcome to the FISD nice to see another Essex boy on here
-
can you post some pictures ?? with my shins although a self build i slightly increased the diameter of the holes and just opened out the hook slightly and everything seems to be holding fine
-
Congratulations Trooper

Yep same feedback as shanester the closure system for your chest to kidney needs looking at , straps could be shorter and then possibly adjust your shim plate part from I can tell in the photos posted. you have already called out the other stuff. Are you signed up on the UkG site ???
-
did your GML go to SWCO might be a reason why ? ?

its just time reading through all the threads, i have no real electronic experience so took the easy options (will cost a bit more overall though) got hooked up with ukswarth's fan set up on bracket and for voice now using tramp stand alone unit mounted in chest and wireless mic in bucket Simples

Looking good trooper, having just gone through All the approval stuff myself recently just minor observations, knee ammo box rivet needs to be painted white, make sure your belt ammo boxes are right in line with the edge of your belt (got pulled up on that). Sniper knee plate looks like it might be low on the top edge but can't quite tell from photo. But this is just knick picky stuff assuming your shooting for centurion. Good luck mate

New back photo from EIB with shortened straps from upper back to kidney plate
Now with dab of glue for positioning
.
Thanks for your consideration

i see you have RS, have you tried contacting them yet ??
-
i went with individual mounts, T-nuts held in place with E6000 and then covered with surgyu (think that's spelt right )
-
Got mine from ISD , fast turnaround and they've been fine so far a few scuffs , but that just gives them that battle worn look

Thanks a lot Andrew, onwards and upwards <br>
looks like the sewing machine will have to come back out to make a shorter set of elastic's. I will reposition the drop boxes as advised and tack in place this time. Couple new photos and will submit for centurion .

Martyn Fennell 42413 EIB A4 Andrew. Many thanks

HI Andrew,
thanks
As requested here is quick pic of rear of blaster showing D-ring, I am assuming now this photo will also be required for Centurion ??
-
with everybody confirming that the left and right are identical, I left the lower edges as is in the end.
I did a test trim on the shin I messed up just to see what it would look like ,but realised in doing this one shin would be considerably lower than the other and if I realigned the other one I would be creating a much larger gap between the shin and thigh than needed, which in turn could lead to the old sniper knee plate issues of getting caught up with your thigh piece.
good luck with your build, will look forward to your progress
