  2. Fellow Troopers, After a lot of research and negotiation, I managed to secure some hands on time with a real Lewis Gun in the UK. So I took the good camera, tape measures, rulers and even the Vernier Callipers to get as many detailed reference photographs and measurements as I could. We had a break in the weather, so took it outside to a bench for further inspection. It weighs in at 23lbs (Just over 10 1/2 kilos). It's not the sort of thing you'd want to drop. And that's without the magazine drum. All in all, I have 76 very detailed photographs at full resolution (5184 × 3456), which is way too much to post here.   3. I used this exact kit to make my first T21. It's a pain. The end result was OK, but it needed to be reworked to add more details and filled with expandable foam and resin to keep it stiff enough to troop with.
