I changed the bottom ear screws to match the top 2 flat ones now all 3 are flat on each side. I also raised the forearms as suggested and added the velcro in the boots to keep the shins from rotating. Will take a few more body shots tomorrow and apply for Cent on Sunday. Thank you for the assistance!

Omg thank you so much! Yes I will make the necessary changes you sugested and apply for Centurion! Thank you!!

Any word on my changes?

Thank you for the input on evening out my forearms and raising the thighs. I trimmed some off my left forearm and changed the forearm to bicep strap on that side to bring it more uniform with the right. I also completely removed the return edge on the bottom of the thighs raising them about 3/4 of an inch. Hope you find these modifications satisfactory on my goal of EIB and then Centurion. I have included a fron pic and back pic and a before and after the thigh mod so you can see how much i was able to raise it.
Side note my rather pissed off roommate helped me dress and on the back pic he did not help me get the belt and butt straight so it appears that there is more gap on the right leg but it is just because the butt is sitting a little on the kidney. If he straightened it, they would match. He was not happy about helping me.

Ok good I had to make my photobucket private for a bit just realized it was backing up my entire phone library online dont want that lol

Thank you. Were you able to see the pictures? Are the cuts and contours in the thighs that I have right now ok as they are? I def. have to fix the strapping issue. That happens tomorrow. On a side note, I do have a photobucket why am I not able to post the pics here. There are multiple share options on photobucket which option should I be using? Thank you!

Thank you again for replying and sorry for not posting pictures sooner. I am also on the Anovos build page on Facebook so I have been using that as a resource and to talk to people as well as trying to use This thread as a model. I have tried to do everything Ukswrath has done. I tried to do the button hooks and failed miserable and had to add plastic back to my shins. I was freaking out. I was able to save it and add velcro which covers most of the new seam area which I abs pasted over and sanded.
So I think most of my issues come from the fact that when I tried to dress yesterday before I started slashing the butt and thighs apart, My back piece was way to low causing everything to sag. I was so focus on the but and thigh overlap I never noticed the problem at the top. If I had pulled up on the whole back portion, everything would have come up. Sorry I don't have a before pic of this. However, I did trim the bottom of the butt and the tops of the thighs. I'd say I cut 2 to 2.5 inches all around. It does feel better I just hope I did not take off too much. I will post some "Practice" pictures. I have not yet submitted anything official yet. Please tell me your thoughts. People have already suggested using a double snap method because my poor velcro system is also causing things to not fit well making me think I have to keep cutting. Also in my photos some of the parts are twisting either in or out so that is causing things to look weird too. I feel like I don't have to take any more off the thighs or butt. I do need to attach the cod back to the ab. I kind of regret cutting that, and I may need to trim the bottom of the shins to lower them as i am having rubbing issues between the top of the shins and the bottom of the thighs. Last question is in normal for the cod "cup" to rub against the thighs when you walk?
Was trying to post pictures but I keep getting an error but this links to my photobucket hope it works.

Thanks for the replys guys. It's been an interesting day of cutting and fitting and freaking out . If I am not mistaken you can only post pictures here using something like Photobucket so I'll try to reply and put some pictures up tonight. Thank you!

I need help and I know a lot of people follow this thread. I am short and the butt is hanging very low. Are we allowed to cut across the top of the butt to make it shorter to bring it up to the kidney? Please help. I know this will take off the top of the butt return edge. I do not have the skill to create another new return edge

What's up Dave, we talked via email when you first joined up! Let me know if you need any help, especially since we live in the same town hahaha! I documented my last build both here and on our NER boards:
http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32531-navajo-bros-am-20-stunt-build/
I'll gladly give you a hand if you need it, Nicole and I have been hosting armor parties at our home pretty much weekly for the last year hahaha! So many new members in NJ and not many had the space or tools to work on stuff so we just opened up our home for anyone that wanted to come by and build stuff, and at this point guys are coming by literally a few times a week.
We completed 8 new TKs, 3 new TBs, 1 new TX and are working on another new TK, 2 TBs (Shadow) and 3 new TIE Pilots hahaha! We've also hit a few quick builds on just parts (some TR mods, IG mods, etc..) as well as my own projects I fit in here and there, so feel free to take advantage of the offer
Hey Terry my name is Sean New Member up in Lyndhurst, you still having weekly armor parties? I'd come down! Welcome Dave I just started mine too up North.

A guy in the anovos fb page just explained it to me. I had no idea some armors are molded with the coverstrip in not as a seperate piece of plastic. Once I saw the picture I understood. So I am good to go w velcro or bra hooks! Thanks for the quick reply
-
Sorry for what seems like a stupid question but I am confused about the butt joint method on closing the calves. I have watched lots of videos on putting arms and thighs and all the armor parts together and then using the cover strip and gluing it all together. In terms of the calf pieces I have seen the velcro method and the bra hook method, both which have overlap unlike the front of the shin which is edge to edge and hidden with the coverstrip.
I want to go Centurian. As I read the requirements it says to use the butt joint method, does that mean there will be no overlap in the calf area at all? if not, then how do you keep it closed? Does anyone have pictures of centurian calf pieces open and closed?
Thank you!

Got the email armor is on its way!!

Sounds about right. I do want to meet the group. I think I saw there was something going on in or near Elizabeth on April 2. I would have totally gone to check it out but I have a prior commitment

Hey Sean! Welcome to the FISD. I hope to see you soon on the NER forums!
Hey Paul thanks, still waiting for them to validate or approve me, it wont let me do anything yet.
-
Thank you Anthony! No idea when my armor is coming I know many of the people wearing it now waited upwards of a year. I hope I can get it all done before summer.
