Ok i ordered a new Stormtrooper suite from Rs. All was great. but something that are bugging me is how they have build it.
I can say this is my second from them.
The kidneyplate have holes drilled in the back not in the return edge. Have tryied too point out too them. Getting no replay either on messenger. or the mails...
And too be honest i´m real pissed about it
And i have no ide how too handle it..

Was going today to get my Suite from the cellar.
As i was walking in my heart stoped, and i saw the padlock was gone.
Some a very impolite person have clipped it and stolen my trunck with RS stormtrooper suite..
Oh and the police here in Sweden. Sorry that you had a break in nothing we can do..
All i can say is, hope i don´t get my hands on thoose who did it......

I use a omnidirectional mic with mine, I find it works much better than the Anker style.mics.

Yea i tried one too but i tryed to changed it with my mouth and tounge and it stoped working

I have a problem with the mic that follow with aker speaker.
I get squeiling from the speaker and real strange noice.
But changing to an other mic it goes away. So my question is,
A good and price worthy mic that goes great with Rom/Fx
and where to buy one..

seems like the right thread to ask on. What was your wait times on RS commissions?
I had too wait for 8 weeks even with neck seal rested...

I would talk to them about the issues of which there are more than I posted here but apart from Andrea acknowledging my complaint I've been completely ignored and now I'm just annoyed...
So other issues...
I requested the smooth helmet but got the bumpy, which wasn't such a big deal but there is a dent in it below the right hovi, also the right hovi has been mounted wonky and touches the rim of the recess and the paint is chipped in 3 places on one of the ears...
The shins have been glued twisted and the top edges of both are misaligned by approximately 15-20mm...
The boots are tiny, if I'd been informed of the very small fitting I'd have ordered bigger as my size cripples my right foot in particular and takes the skin off my little toe, the paint was still tacky...
The corners of the backplate seem to be curved down and it won't sit flush on the kidney plate...
The ab and kidney plate seem to be misaligned although this may be due to my height I'm not sure...
After wearing once most of the paint has chipped off the rivets on the kidney plate although I don't know if this happens to everyone...
I think that's all but I think it's a long enough list and warrants the decency of a reply...

Got mine this friday and stumble on some problem too
Can´t fit my head in the bucket does not matter how i turn it.
Ab plate and kidney are build for someone with 32 inch waist i had order for 36 inch
Shins are perfect but had some sticky residue inside so when i tried them on with the boots
the feking paint came off.
Hope it works out for booth of us.
And May the force be with you.
Just mailed Andrea at 8:15 got a replay from her at 8:30. she gonna talk to them so they can fix my problems

Well not approved yet, still waiting for my armor too come. But have 2 numbers that is close to me when i get assigned one. 1st is when i was married and 2sec is date when i got clean and sober

I feel you, has gone 6 weeks on saturday, longest time i have been waiting for something so mutch.
Wish the time could speed up a bit
Wonder if they hang on Fisd. So they could look on what they need to change in there builds.
but what i have read and seen not mutch needs modifications.

To clarify, when I said "board vs kit" I meant the empty circuit board, so you could do your own electronics project with it, as opposed to a built and working ROMFX with the electronics components installed, as that's what I was confused about onnyour question.

John will sell just the board, I purchased mine from him that way.
You will have to talk with him about it though as he does generally sell them as a complete package.
Just be patient and remember that for many vendors this is a part time gig and they have lives outside the Empire
Edit: found the emails from him when I ordered mine. Here is what he quoted me. It was a year ago so that may not be current pricing.

You used to be able to buy just the board. Best to send him an email and ask if he still does that.

John can be a little tricky to get in touch with from time to time. He typically produces a few runs annually, and that's what he sells. I'm not positive if by "just the fx board" you mean the stripped down circuit board or not, but he sells the boards in their completed state, with a speaker and microphone. There are no "kit" options as the armors are offered.

I wonder if it´s hard to get hold of John, have tried with mail for a week and a half but no answer.
Or is he real hard to get hold of. And does any know if he has in stock or just sell when he has a batch.
1. Can you just buy the fx board, don´t need the whole kit.
2. Or does he just sell whole kits.
