  1. I also just finished my mitcheg v2 helmet. For me painting was the hardest. Lots of dremeling and I had a tough time installing the lenses. I also installed a hard hat support system, which was hard to level. In the end I'm very happy with it. It may not be the shiniest but I love it. Next will be armor. Sent from Tapatalk
  2. What I was saying, is I saw them, but am no expert in Gasket Quality. They are a rubbery material. For me I am waiting for the cloth gaskets Sent from Tapatalk
  3. I talked to them at Megacon. I also touched the gaskets. They claim you will be able to put your helmet on with them. It looks nice. But that's all I can say. Sent from Tapatalk
  4. Yes painting. Ugh...Ty for posting all the details! Sent from Tapatalk
  5. That's great. I have working on the shine to my helmet for what seems like forever. Good job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have a v2 and am slowly finishing it. I am painting slowly but the helmet is very smooth. I am hoping to have mine done this weekend. *maybe* Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It will also be spring break for many in Florida too. It will be busy. At least I have a year to get my FO armor done =) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. This thread will be so helpful to me. I am on the list but haven't been certain on the fiberglass. So I'll follow intently.
  10. Thank you for your response. [Edited] How does the neck seal from stormtrooperundersuit match the Jim cloth gaskets? I am on the wait list for the cloth gaskets from imperialgaskets, but considered just going with Jim's. Did you feel that the plasti dip is a required step to finishing the inside?
  11. Hi, I heard there are a few builds of the Jims armor. Are there any that focus on what needs to be done to connect them to the gaskets or any straps to add etc.

  13. I am new to all of this and am super excited to see so many people from Florida building these kits.
