Hi Joseph thanks for your helpful information regarding the helmet,belt & ab buttons, much appreciated! it was the first time I had tried on the full armour just to see how it all looked, I will give it all a final tweak when I have my submission photos taken, I think my belt only has 2 Chicago screw's holding my holster in place, I will attach a couple more when I get the chance, the only Chicago screw's I could find to attach the holster are slotted one side & flat the on other side,the other fasteners I have are 5/8" dome headed split rivets, are either of these ok? cheers Darren

Hi Tico, I'm not 100% sure what type of helmet it is as I purchased it off "evilbay" so don't know any of it's history, Lol! it has got the "bubble" lenses & from what I can tell it's been built & painted like a hero helmet, but I'm no expert! Lol! I just thought it looked well made & was good for the price I paid, I already own another set of TK armour that's just for display & I always wanted another set to wear so when RS Prop master's offered their "pandemic special" I just couldn't resist! especially as it gave me something to do besides DIY during lockdown! I have been following your build thread & I'm very impressed with your progress so far, it's looking great, looking forward to seeing it finished. keep up the good work! cheers Darren

Hi, here's a few pics of my WIP TK RS Prop masters Stormtrooper armour. I purchased this about 6 weeks ago as a lockdown project, I already had a helmet & few other accessories so just needed a set of armour to complete the outfit! Lol! I still have a few bits & pieces to do before it's finished then I'm hoping to submit it for basic approval ( I may go up another level at a later date ) sorry I don't have any build pics as I've also been quite busy doing DIY as well during lockdown! Hi, Not really a recaster post but more of a warning,I just wanted to make members on this forum aware of a seller on etsy know as joyful props69, they are currently selling a set of tk armour as well as various other props & costumes on etsy . The reason for me posting this is it smells of a possible scam that left me & several other people out of pocket ( luckily I paid through PayPal & got my money refunded! ) then they were trading under the name of Furry Props , I messaged them today asking for info on the tk armour set & got the same short,terse reply as I did from the Furry Props seller, they may be totally legit but I just didn't want people to make the same mistake I did!

Hi, just a quick update to say I've received a full refund from etsy regarding the TFA armour I intended to purchase, just hope all the other people who had orders outstanding got/get their money back too .

Hi, I've just joined and introduced myself on the introductions section and I wish I had come across this forum a few weeks ago as I am also a "victim" of the etsy seller known as Furry Props !(though that's not what I've been calling them the past few days!!!!) I ordered a set of the TFA stormtrooper armour off them way back in early January and at the time i had no idea that they had been passing off their armour as their own but after reading this thread i have seen that this is not the case !! They have since disappeared ,either they have been removed by etsy or on their own accord but unfortunately they have taken my money and several other people's as well as I remember seeing at least 10 other orders outstanding some for the full armour set Inc.helmet,blaster etc costing around £500.00 ! when their site was still up , so it seems I'm not the only one who has been conned!!!I have tried on several occasions to get in touch with them but had no luck so it left me with no choice but to make a claim with PayPal to try and recoup my money and also I've contacted etsy to complain about them aswell . Will keep you all posted of any progress and i hope all the other people who ordered from them and were ripped off get their money back too. thanks
