  1. Oh that is awesome!! I was thinking about converting an airsoft model as it would be fun to be able to pop off a few shots, plus the folding stock would work! Let me know if you ever want to swap this for my doopydoo kit.
  2. I have found an old scope raiser from an airsoft rifle I had. I am going to mount that onto the metal rail on my E11 for the red dot scope I have. It may raise the scope a little too high and may end up looking like a strange ANH and ROTJ hybrid!
  3. I think I agree with the The5thHorseman in that I would quite prefer a hybrid! ANH blaster but with the scope rail from ROTJ would make a smart weapon! I am not too sure if I am entirely sold on those power cylinders.. hmmmm
  4. Hi all, I am currently building a doopydoo blaster in the style of ANH, but I was wondering what everybodys personal favourite design was. For me I like the ANH blaster because it is full of bits and bobs to make it seem spacey, but the ROTJ blaster has a nice scope mount, which makes it look much more industrial and better suited to the tough life a blaster would of had. I realise that with ANH there were differences between the blasters as bits kept falling off, but I am just looking at the general design.
  5. Hi all, I think even a hollow one with clear lenses would be perfectly fine. Basically just something you can look down instead of a solid lump of resin! @Bulldog, do you have an estimated price for your scopes?
  6. Hi all, I have a Doopydoo E11 blaster that I am currently working on. I can't stand that the scope is completely opaque, so I am thinking of doing away with it and installing a working red dot scope. Sure it will not make the E11 completely accurate anymore, but as long as it looks vaguely sci-fi then I think I will be Ok with it as I do not troop. So my question is if anybody here has installed a scope that was not the classic tank scope?
  7. That is an excellent idea with the magnets! I am currently starting my doopy E11 build and this is something I will look into for sure.
