Wow. Thank you thank you thank you! I greatly appreciate your consideration and acceptance. Also, a huge thanks to everyone who helped me along the way. UKSWRATH I couldn't have done it without your tutorial and one on one help along the way. Now I'll shut up and troop.

I re-shot those angles. I think they are improved over what I posted last week. With that said, I feel I need to apologize. I'm going to submit these, but I fear they aren't up to Centurian standards. I find myself terribly frustrated with these gaps. I honestly do not think it's the armor or the build. It's me. To be more accurate, there is too much me. Looking back to my Basic photos in April, this issue was not there. If you cannot approve, I totally understand. I'm going to get back to the gym, start getting miles on the road and get back to fighting weight. When I do, if you would allow, I'll resubmit. In any case, here are my re-takes. Thank you for your time and thank you for allowing me the chance to make the correction. ~ darren

FANTASTIC! I'm thrilled and honored to be accepted for EIB. Thank for your compliments and your suggestions for improvements. I'll get right to work and see you at the next step.

Sly11, I made the alterations and adjustments as you suggested. The photos of those corrections are below:
Cod and Butt plate connection hardware paint removed:
Shoulder bell to chest plate and shoulder bridge gap narrowed:
Back plate to kidney plate uneven gap corrected:
Thank you for your suggestions and allowing me the opportunity to make the needed corrections.

No worries.

Sounds good. I'm on it. Thank you

I hear what you're saying and I see your point. I've waffled back and forth on that. I used starwarshelmets.com and the ANH helmet examples as a reference, and I saw that nearly every frown was slightly different from bucket to bucket. So then I just went with personal preference and stopped when I liked how it looked. If the reviewers suggest I paint a little I will.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Sounds good allan1313! Thank you. That paint comes off easily enough. No problem there. Guess I thought if a little while paint here and there was good, more everywhere would be even better.
And the eyes, I've been back and forth myself with those. My thought process being, less is more, and it's better to take off too little rather than too much.
Thanks for your feedback and your advice!

Welcome! I'm a noob builder in Wichita with the same kit. Good luck and enjoy the journey.

I'll be a first time builder in Wichita when my Anovos OT TK armor finally ships and delivers. My goal is to get 501st approved. I'm excited yet a bit intimidated at the project ahead of me. I saw ANH in theaters in '77 when I was 6. TKs were my favorite then and they still are today.

My self-imposed deadline to finish my build is Halloween so I can join my 8 year old little girl Vader on her trick or treat rounds.
