I have the helmet together!!! It's unpainted but I'll get to that. However, I made a slight mistake in the teeth cutting. I cut out 2 extra holes on the ends. Is there a solution to this? Maybe fill in the holes? I just don't wanna shell out more cash for a new helmet when I'm practically done with it.

Thanks conker! I know I need 1" for the arms but do I need 2" for the torso pieces? Also, how do I attach the rivet to the elastic? I'm very inexperienced with this.

Can I glue the elastic straps to the armor? (Chest to ab elastic and back to kidney to posterior) what's your opinion on it? Anything is helpful. Glueing with E6000 vs CA Glue? Do I need clamps for E6000?

Is rhe phasma build just a modded TFA TK? My girlfriend is really wanting to get into the 501st and she wants to get her hands on a captain phasma armor. Any pointers for something to get it started? Helmet trimming,glove mods,etc, if start a new thread but this is a very active thread. Any tips are welcome.

I was thinking of doing the rivet and elastic system for connecting the torso together. Clam shell style with snaps. Any tips on that? I'm bad at explaining in small detail so, forgive me if I'm confusing.

What glue do you recommend? E6000? Zap a gap?

Thank you, conker! I got the Testors paints from a local hobby shop here. I was thinking that white Velcro is needed for that exact reason! Now that I think about it, that would be best to leave it untrimmed for now.

Can anyone direct me in the direction of helmet back trim ? I'm incertain where to trim up to.

Hello everybody, I am currently working on a ANH stunt TK. Just polishing up the trimming and getting it nice and clean. There's a few questions I have though. First, I'm looking to build up to just the standard 501st approval tier. Nothing too accurate. Just something to get me by. Is there a thread on here with some tutorial/tips? Second, with bucket painting, is there a thread with some paint references/substitutes that are acceptable? I was looking for certain blues but I couldn't find exact blues. They're all Testors paints. Also, with the shins, what color velcro is required? Black or white? As for the thighs, do they attavk via elastic to the ab/crotch plate? Any help is good help. Thank you guys it's much appreciated!!!

Akrighty, so I'm building an ANH Stunt TK and ice been working on the helmet. I and a friend of mine were screwing in the ear screws and I find that he had grabbed the wrong screw size. My ears look like they have piercings (studs) in them. The length is fine but, the width is rather large. I've acquired the right screw size after reading up on it. Thankfully I've only drilled into the bottom of the helmet. I could get a counter sunk screw in the size drilled but with me being particular about symmetry I don't think it'll look good. Any idea on what I should do? Can I have different screw sizes on the ears? I didn't see anything in the CRL for exact specifications. Btw in going for the basic 501st approval.
