  1. I thought the teeth were supposed to be painted??
  2. From the research I've done so far, the armour and helmet kits that AP does is good quality and meets 501st approval (with trimming and assembly of course). I'm currently planning to buy my TK ANH Stunt kit from him. I like how his helmet lacks the bumps and distortions of the original helmets and feels more symmetrical (just my opinion). What I'm wondering though is whether you guys maybe able to inform me whether the accessories and soft parts AP sell (like the E-11 blaster, holster and rubber gloves) meet 501st approval straight out of the box or if I need to make modifications to them to meet 501st approval. Any advice would be great before i decide to make a purchase.[emoji3] *I know that I will have to get the boots, undersuit and neck seal elsewhere however*
  3. I'm kind of in a similar situation to what you were in. Because I would prefer to have all the required TK armour and accessories delivered to me at once I've been contemplating spending the $3,000 AUD (converted from £1,449.99) for the ANH Stunt Complete Stormtrooper Commission from RS Prop Masters, as it comes with a full kit and the option to have it pre-trimmed, and the fact that I've never seen myself as a 'handyman' or good with tools when it comes to assembly. But because I know this is a ridiculous amount of money to spend and the fact I wouldn't otherwise have much involvement in its assembly I would feel that I'm somewhat cheating and not taking the time to make the costume my own. Fortunately I think I've narrowed down two potential suppliers for me to buy a ANH Stunt from: ATA and AP. I've been told that AM should be used for taller body sizes (that is, taller than 6'2'') so I've steered away from that so far.
  4. Started reading this thread not long ago and it's clear there is a lot of consideration to make before buying the suit that matches your needs/dimensions/budget etc. While I haven't researched all the sellers of TK armour types, the one that seems to have catched my eye the most is RS Prop Masters. Apparently they blur the lines between a Licenced and fan-made seller, while making prop replicas cast from an original New Hope helmet and armour. I note, however, that RS are not on the original post of vetted vendors so I am unsure as to whether they're reputable?
