while i was in my armor most of the day at my local hospital I kept having thigh problems... the industrial velcro kept loosing grip so I decided to come home and redo all my strapping velcro with snaps and I must say I belive I will not be having any more problems....

welcome to the FISD....
Here at the FISD thier are alot of information that you may need if you decide to do an armor build or just want to do alot of reading to better further your knowledge. You will also hear/read about the Blaser Builder Club in which that site will give you tut's on how to build your own blaster, imperial cuff's, droid callers and a few other things that you may be intrested in. Also here at the FISD you will learn about dates of events that you may be intrested in participating in or would just like to visit, it is nice to have you aboard and I would like to personally welcome you and the other new members. If you all have any questions feel free to send me PM's and I will respond to those ASAP, and if you all are intrested in becoming a 501st member you will need to get in contact with you local Garrison and they will keep in contact with you throughout your build process. Remeber for your armor selection your height and weight is a big factor in which armor you should purchase because everyone is made differently and so is the armor out there

great armor, do me a favor and measure the thermal det without the ends on it " lenght and width wise" because im fixing to do a pull on the face plate since i didnt get one... im using 0.100 abs for the pull just because i like my pieces to be a little more sturdy

take a screen shot of your confermation from ebay and contact paypal and tell them you have not recived your product yet and it has been over 45 days and that if they dont straighten it up within one week you will file a law suite against them and the seller for theft, but man only purchase a kit from someone with 100 percent.

what company did you buy it from ? I also have a FX kit, I re casted a few pieces in case one of mine mess's up. but while I was in the process of putting mine togeather i added quiet a few inperfection dimples in mine for authenticity but yeah hmmm 45 days seems like they took you but if you used paypal they will re imburse you

Awesome man but thier are a few things that you should take in mind first of all will 501st allow rubies armor to be accepted hmmm that will possibly be a no, second of all does the armor fit you good ? and third do you feel like you revieved your money's worth ? everyone buys diff armor as for me im bigger in stature so I purchased a FX kit, replaced my bucket with a new Mr. bucket and added more accurate details such as buttons and such to make it look more screen accurate. here is a link that will help you aswell http://tk899.blogspot.com/2008/04/first-no...ubies-pics.html and you can look in our forums and check out the build process that way you can get it to fit better. but good luck and if you need anything just shoot me a PM

no need to try and "fit" in because if a person wants to be your friend they will like you for who you are and not what your "hobbies" are. if you change the way you are you will be lost and more unhappy than you are right now. only you yourself can bring happiness within yourself no others can do this, so just be yourself and everything will fall into order
