I was able to source a green lens from airgas welding. This lens is lighter brighter than the original lens. At just $7.00 is is a great solution! Thanks all for you input, you were very helpful. I posed the question because I never could find a good discussion on the topic

Thank you, that is better than some of the shields I got... they were too dark and way too thick.

I have a strip lens on my TK, it has been scratch beyond safety. What face shield material would be correct? Please provide a link if possible. I have been told to just get welder shield, but from online vendors I can't tell how clear it would be. Any help is welcome. TK14262
