Hi all - I'm just starting out on my build, and am looking at the sizing. I am 5"7.5 (hey, that 1/2 inch matters!!! LOL) and 190lb. I'm comfortable with making the shims I'll need to make my forearms, upper arms and Thighs more comfortable as they are all fully closed, but I'm seeking feedback on the Calves. I'm planning on just doing the Velcro attachment method - but I build shims to allow them to close (not happening without!), then I'm not sure how to do this "cleanly" and still allow the velcro to fasten and release as needed. Any feedback or links to any other threads out there (I looked, but couldn't find anything on point).

Hi all - kit I bought trimmed has return edges already trimmed in. I personally like the way they look, but have been advised to trim them back as they will dig in when trooping and be unnecessarily uncomfortable. However, I know I've seen threads/comments here with folks looking to "add" this effect as desirable. Thoughts??

The Velcro holds up well when trooping?

Hi all - got a big box of TK plastic waiting for some love! I'm initially thinking of the "snaps" method for strapping and holding it all together, but wanted to pick the collective brain on options. Any threads people can point me to, or can anyone share pics of their way of holding the pieces together?

Hi all - I tried searching but couldn't find any threads on input on internal strapping/belt/suspenders to hold up thighs. Any good threads someone can point me to, or other recommendations. What works best?

Hi guys - big brown box arrived, and thanks to all the awesome support & threads here I have a great equipment/tools list to buy and am relatively confident...however, where to start? My plan was to do the "little" things first (paint ab plate, build thermal det and the belt) to gain confidence, and go from there (I copped out and bought a completed bucket with my kit, so helmet is good).<br> So - thoughts/experience preference on build order?
