  1. Not sure if this has been answered (and I really don't want to read back 108 pages...) Has anyone received word if the 'first run' of orders only includes the $350 pre-order? Or, as they have suspended ordering, will the later $650 kits ship at the same time?
  2. Well after careful consideration, I just placed my order for the ANH TK armor with Anovos. Now I just gotta finish that blaster..... Looking forward to asking many questions here in the future!
  3. Okay, this just may work. I'll add my Flickr album below.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/62938845@N04/shares/8X64TE Not sure how to put actual pics within my post just yet. I'll figure it out
  4. Well, I've had my kit a couple months or so now. Also ordered the T-Jay's finishing kit and Gazmosis magazine. Figured I'd get a build thread started. So far, the only thing I've been able to finish somewhat decently is the scope. I'll throw some pics up in a bit. I also picked up a Sterling folding stock for my build that I'd love to use (if I can get the pins out sometime this century) Now to find an image hosting server...........
  5. I've been having a similar problem removing the resin screw blobs. Can't seem to drill the hole in the proper location. It's gotten so bad I'm considering cutting the whole muzzle off and ordering a 3D printed one from Shapeways...
  6. Ah yes, a drill bit would be a good idea! Thanks! I must attempt this...
  7. Those pins.... I have bent about 50 nails now trying to hammer them out. Used heat, pliers, liquid wrench.... any further thoughts??
  8. Can't get those dang pins out... They're thru just a teeny bit but now all I'm doing is bending nails trying to hammer them out. Are they tapered on one end perhaps?
  9. Bah. Just ignore that. Found Gazmosis' build page...
  10. For those that have put a real stock on - how do the pivot pins come out? Prying doesn't seem to work...
  11. There are definitely no references to a folding stock in the films. Nor are there for a functioning bolt, see-through scope, magazine release mechanism, selector switch and a working trigger. Yet people mod them accordingly. Just a thought....
  12. Thanks for the input. As I plan on trooping one day, I will take this into consideration!
  13. Has anyone tried a Sterling folding stock on a DD kit? I'm rather curious to know if it's a good idea. Bought one on eBay today just in case. Otherwise it'll make for good reference material.
  14. Hey thanks Mr Lord! I'm going to make sure I research more before posting next time....
  15. Okay - apparently I'm an idiot. I was looking at a separate casting not included in the DD kit. You may disregard.....
  16. Hello peeps. Newbie here. I just received my E-11 kit from DoopyDoos (almost 2 months later) I was looking at reference pics and it looks like my magazine casting is incorrect (based on reference pics I see around here.) I believe there is supposed to be a clip or something on it, plus it looks too short. I'd really like some input on this as I'm rather clueless....
  17. I ordered my kit early last month. I was kinda hoping they'd include an order status option on their website. Do they pass along tracking info on orders?
