  1. Moved the cut line back and rough cut the thighs...
  2. Chest plate rough cut... Sanded edges... Button plates... All polished up...
  3. It has been a bit since my last post... Rough cut... Edges sanded... Final clean and polish...
  4. Yes, there is just enough tension to keep them in place, but loose enough to slide out. Thanks for the comments...
  5. I know this is not exactly canon, but I made this the other day. I noticed the difficulty when doing a hospital visit or other event with not having many places to put your cards, other than just holding on to them. I just wanted to know what your thoughts are. Granted, this is only a quick prototype made from scrap ABS, but I think I can improve the design or simply make it better after doing a couple. -------------- Constructive criticism welcome...
  6. ...and polished. Everything on the staging table... Done for the day, the wife has to work... Next up...
  7. Shoulder Straps Glued. Great fit and seal!!!
  8. Trimmed and sanded... Added pieces of scrap ABS to the void spaces, sanded even, to create a better glueing surface to the chest plate... Doesn't look pretty, but you will never see it!!!
  9. Slow day today, but was able to finish the left forearm. This one gave us a little problem with. After sizing, I had to give it a hot water bath so I could close up the pieces without tension. I unfortunately left it in a bit to long and caused the armor to warp a bit. I had to remold it a bit with a pint glass. It surprising went well an was able to close the forearm. I will post a picture of the finished product.
  10. After a hot water bath and cover strips added, we wait. Calling it done for the day...
  11. On to her right forearm. I noticed the Anovos was very generous with the amount of plastic on them. Like the biceps, I had to take a lot off. Like I said, a lot of material... Backing strip added...
  12. These are pretty self explanatory... Each got the initial trim, cut, sanded, and polished.
