A little more work done; shins, biceps and handguard/gloves. I still have latex handguards to attach to a set of gloves. Working on thighs, then the clamshell and chest pieces so I can start fitting. -

The timeline is shortly before episode iv, it is the story of the death star plans being stolen. When means the tk's should be identical.

I have ordered from him, he's a 501st and Rebel Legion member, goes by Darthhair. -
I was checking the Anovos site and I saw this. I don't know how long it has been here, but it does give a bit more info on possible shipping timeline. If they follow this tier 1 should ship by the end of the year. Shipping Estimate Estimated time to order fulfillment: Winter 2015 for Celebration Tier / Tier 1 orders; January to February 2016 for Tier 2 & October to December 2015 orders. Shipping time frame given is an estimate only and is subject to change for any reason.

What are your opinions on this armor set?
Landeaux replied to bing305's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Hello Bing, I'm a noob when it comes to TK armor(I have not built my own, waiting for my kit) but I have been reading through the wealth of info that is on this forum. What I see is thigh armor that is mismatched and maybe not even salvageable. The shin and forearm armor looks too short. Use this topic to start your research: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/ as wingnut suggested and continue to ask questions. There are a lot of troopers here that will help you. Another resource is to get in touch with your local garrison. -

I got these boots cheap, so I tried painting them figuring they could be good at least for basic approval. -

Thanks for the help, I had most of those targeted for study but didn't think about return edge trimming. I have already built a converted Hasbro blaster. I plan on picking up accessories like fans, mic and amp plus anything else I think I will need. Is there any other areas I should add to the list of studies? -
This probably isn't the typical start to a build thread. I did the preorder for the Anovos stormtrooper kit,so there will be a wait for it. In the meantime I will be studying tips and tutorials on the build that are on this forum. My question to the experienced builders is this, What parts of a ANH stormtrooper build are the most difficult/ complex? What techniques should I research about?
