  1. Sure, I can post some construction photos if that will help. We were at Megacon (for a whole 3 hours). The Anovos guy was chatting up my dad about his kit so that was probably us.

Yeah any details of the build would be super helpful - appreciate it!

This my dad's armor. He got his Anovos TK back in February and already has it approved. We did this as an noninvasive mod to that armor. He ordered a 2nd back plate and we mounted the respirator backpack to that. He's got backpack straps for comfort and all the straps get hidden by the breast plate. Instead of wasting unused space he can carry essential items in the backpack along with the receiver/speaker for his wireless mic system. The pack with speakers weight about 8lbs. Its made from PVC and a lot of expanded PVC sheet and other light weight plastics. We tried to keep the weight down. The helmet respirator attachment is also expanded PVC, bolted through the helmet where the mic tips were. He can unbolt it and go right back to a normal TK.

Hey Johnny - This look great man! Were you guys just at the con in Florida? had some friends there with Anovos and took come pics of what looks exactly like your dads kit! would you guys be open to helping our with another pack / rebreather like you did for this one? looking to replicate the same this as you did on my TK and I like final look of yours!

Also any more pics of this?

  3. Hey guys

Currently I have a aker amp and icom unit installed in my chest piece along with a memorex wireless receiver.

I then have the wireless transmitter installed in the back of my bucket.

My issue is that I am constantly getting nasty feedback through the amp when ever I try to use the system and have not been able to figure out why.

Looking for any trouble shooting suggestions from the group so I can use this on the next troop.

    Thanks ahead of time!

  4. There is a sculpter in the Philippines garrison that just finished his first complete build and is doing Helmet runs currently. The final product looks pretty solid but haven't seen in person but in talking to the guys that have its pretty impressive.

    Here is the thread:

  5. So rather than converting one, has anyone seen this one from their website?

Thoughts? Is it Centurion standard out of the box?

It looks at if there are some of the guys from the Hong Kong Garrison that have been giving feedback to them on this one. They have since correct the scope to be accurate and I also believe the Magazine too - pretty cool none the less  :duim:

  6. Hey guys - been traveling a bit and hadn't been posting.

Bluey - you were spot on with the wearing it part. I had taped and clamped everything up just to try it for fit and the thighs fit great. Even after glueing together they are super easy to step into. Now I just need to finish a strapping belt to make sure they stay in place. ;)

For the forearms. They are Velcroed on one side for now. I have to play with the sizing to see if I can seal them up and make them work. The issue I noticed wasn't really my non-Popeye forearms as it was just getting a good fit and making sure my hand got through. I think a bit more playing around and I'll be all good.

Thanks for the input guys, definitely a help!
