I have one of those spyear things (it's a bit like a hearing aid) installed, the mic is glued in the left ear cap with a small hole drilled in one of the stripes so it can pick up the sound and I use a pair of in-ear headphones with it.
I would post some pics but all my gear is packed for a troop in a few hours, when I get back I can post pics if you want.

Welcome to the forum
Thanks all. ...errr...whats TD and MEPD stand for ?TD is a Sandtrooper (like how TK is a Stormtrooper, each character group has their own abbreviation) and MEPD stands for Mos Eisley Police Department which is the Sandtrooper detachment in the 501st Legion
Edit: Looks like Scott was posting at the same time

Lady 2: What movie?
Lady 1: You know that whaaaa whaaaa (lightsaber sound effects) movie.
Lady 2: I guess I didn?t see that movie.
Lady1: Yes you did, we saw it at Dan?s house.

Yes, that is what I have learned, there is "AFX" and "MFX", the MFX doesn't look too bad, but good luck getting it
Same here, I thought the FX was short for AFX.
I was told to stay away from MFX but I think they recently upgraded it, can't remember where I read it so don't quote me on that

I added a chin strap to my RT-Mod the other day, it helps keep the lenses in the right spot when I try to look down but really I added it because I like adding stuff to my helmet
Here's one showing how I attached the straps (it's the same on the other side):
--------------
The strap is just two pieces of elastic, one longer than the other and I attached snaps on each end to join them. I tried a one piece strap but got stuck and couldn't get the helmet off
I got the idea for mine from this post by Troopermaster... Link

... also, what is the Mark IV designation? I am not familiar with that.
I think the 'Mark IV' means you're up to the ANH deployment standards (Mark V being the ESB standards and VI being ROTJ)

SuperTrooper said:Nice to see another new trooper starting with an upgraded helmet. Looking good.
Thanks
The FX helmet just looked odd on me and an order for some RT-Mods was about to be placed... the timing was perfect
Just took a photo of my completed armor:
-----------
(it's a little blurry) Now I just have to wait for my TK number... *twiddles thumbs*

I've currently "Ready for duty" I just have to wait to be assigned my ID number.
Same here
Your armor looks good!

Not having the cash for me, I've already upgraded my helmet and am happy with my FX armour so I'm not really in a rush to upgrade but if I had cash to spare I would (and possibly turn the FX into a TD )

I cut mine along the bottom of the ab plate, mainly because it was easier to do with the equipment that I had but I did think that along the bottom might give you a bit more flexibility since it's not effected by the belt as much (I think)
I also added snaps to the cod and ab plate so it could be removed completely which allows the cod to move up under the ab plate a bit so I can sit without much trouble
I don't really think it's helped with bending over that much but it did make sitting less awkward

Welcome to the forum and greetings from a soon to be TK from across the ditch

I normally go with Imageshack because it's pretty quick and gives you the codes for posting images in forums. You could also try Photobucket, I haven't really used photobucket but I think it's pretty good and you can have online albums.
Hope that helps

Hey many people tolled me that it would be perfect for the outfit?
They might have thought you were talking about the 1:1 scale MR E-11, the scaled replica is 0.33 scale (which works out to be just under 7" long, the 1:1 scale is about 21" and costs quite a bit more than the scaled version )
I just checked the site you found that pic on and it is the small version
