  7. arms are glued and ready for strapping I only have to remove the residual glue before strapping
  8. Hi guys, need the help of the experts. The belt normally will be rivet on the abdominal plate on both sides. Please have a look on the following screen cap. I marked the belt of the trooper in the front, correct me if I am wrong but it looks like that the belt was only rivet on the left site but not on the right site? What do you think guys? thx
  9. Yes i cut them with the yello tool it is a circle cutter 😆
  10. Buttons painted On the photo they look all painted black but they are painted black and blue - 3 dark blue (Humbrol No15) the buttons near the belt - 6 black (Humbrol No21)
  11. Hey folks, had some time today to work on my armor. ....glued the arms and shins are ready to wear .....preparing the abdominal plate for the paint job.....

  13. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/31946-ROTJ-tights-question-for-EIB-certification
  14. "Outer goes on Top of the inner" have a look into my thread in the EIB section
  15. I am with you in that case. Also put this question into the EIB section to be sure But I already glued the shins, and arms that way And for me it works much better especially for the tights I think with the inner overlapping the outer I will have much more room to wear them
  16. One more question which came up today. As mentioned in the CRL we have to glue the parts together by using the overlapping method. But in which way, inner overlapping the outer part or the other way round (traditional way). It is no clear, some reference shows outer overlapping the inner and on some other pictures it is inner overlapping the outer part. The CRL does not makes a difference, so I suppose we can use one of the mentioned variations? I want to prefent regluing of my armour thx
  17. Approved EiB... should ne no problem. Maybe Matthias can give a Feedback on this topic😆
  18. I will keep it inner overlapping outside. we did not know all suits so maybe this to variations are possible
  19. No sry I mean the Centurion request of rhapsodyred He glued the tights inner over outer But CFO glued the newest armour inner overlapping outer, have a looking on his Facebook page. But as already mentioned CRL does not say which way you have to glue the parts together
  20. Ok but I think it will be ok because in the crl it is not mentioned. We also have a ROTJ Centurion who glue the tights that way 😆
  21. Oh ok than I have to unglue my biceps
  22. Paul what do you think about this picture? Inner over outer? ! I am confused
  23. I did it inner over outer for the forearms and the biceps
  24. But I am not sure if coverstripes are allowed because for ROTJ I have to Assembler the tights with the overlapping method😕
