5 weeks . but i want to get everything together before it arrives. I have a fiber glass kit now and It is sized to me. I can use the parts as templates for the new armor. I never worked with SBS before so I am asking questions now. I hope that sbs is easy to glue. fiberglass is the worst material to work.

is it possible to velcro both sides of the thighs and legs rather to glue them. I am trying to use the least amount of glue period,also. any tips on making the thighs and legs thinner? I have a small frame and I am getting a standard AP armor.

any ideas on the clips to fix the thermal detonator to the belt? something cheap I can find at the hardware store or other.

how long do yo think will take me to put it together. I have the parts of my other kit for sizing so its a matter to cut to size. so my skills are medium.

thanks guys I am 5'6 145 lb so this sounds like a no brainer. I had a fiber glass kit before that fits well. However fiber glass is a pain to work with. So I can use that as a template for measuring each part. The kit is a standard size so I will have to trim it to my size. The part that scares me the most is how to glue it. I had terrible experience gluing fiber glass. it stunk like a meth lab and the glue did not work well (apoxy). Can I trim this new armor with regular scissors or with dremmel? thanks again
