I think he meant the helmets they made their molds from were 3d printed.he talked about the helmets being 3d printed but then said they were made from fiberglass not "that 3d printed material, Resin".. I am a bit confussed on that.. Were those helmets 3d printed or no?

Fair point. Didn't think about that.I have no proof of this, it's just speculation, but I imagine it's harder to dress a fiberglass mannequin in a hurry than it is to dress a human. I don't think it was a matter of fit so much as getting the armor on a hard, unmoving mannequin in a hurry.

Maybe this is why they decided to switch back to abs lol. I'm a bit confused. If it's going to fit a person, why won't it fit a mani?

Anyway I will be ordering one. The TK will release before the TX so if the TK is rubbish I can just cancel.

Just like to share. Before I started my build and was first researching for 501st I weighed in at around 245. I have since (completed my build) gotten down to 217. I'm hoping to eventually make it down to 200. Then 190.

I have MTK on my sandy. 44in waist and it fits well. Maybe about a cm gap each side.Add MTK to your list of potential matches. I am not sure of his max belly button measurement, but I am 37.5" in that area and will be trimming around 1-3" off the kidney/ab.

Have a darman neck seal. It's great quality. I also have a trooperbay pauldron and it's great as is the canvas belt I got from him. It's all preferences.

The armor looked fine to me. Not that I've done any research or comparisons. The only thing that stuck out to me was that the helmets looked a bit off. Not terribly off. And maybe a smigeon too big. That's just from the way I saw it. Never compared. But it looks great overall. I'd love to be able to find funds for one someday.

He just released a new run too. Not to mention he does have some fixes to the kit he made for accuracy.yes. ATA and MTK are derived from the same molds. I have an ATA bucket and an MTK bucket and suit. The buckets are almost identical, only difference is the ATA is slightly smaller. Ive heard thats the way with the suits as well. Both are very good. ATA has a long wait where MTK is quicker. Cant go wrong with either in my opinion. I dig the imperial boots as well. Very comfortable
