To be fair to my knowledge the Premier helmet was a hand sculpted piece. Even if people and anovos will want to lie and say it wasn't.
They have the data but look at the huge difference between the TFA Premier and Standard buckets. Very different. Most regard the standard as more accurate.
Their FOJE looks a little lazy too.

That kit is a mess. Colors are mismatched if I'm not mistaken. And they still appear to be using that goofy in accurate sculpt for the premier helmet. What a shame.

If you check their Facebook they post all their model. It was deliberately designed this way to be easier to paint.I thought the same. I've been told the final product won't be like this but it still raises questions. I personally have no issues with anyone at TDK but again I'm a bit apprehensive.

I agree the new cod is noticeable with those attention detailed. But to the average person would very much look the same. Perhaps this is a lvl 2 thing.

Sorry to mention again but I had a same concern for the biceps.You could also adjust the wording to the thighs as the biceps as in the new TLJ images you can see overlaps
Thighs
For 501st approval:
- There is a seam on the outside of the thighs
- There is a seam or an overlap on the inside of the thighs
- A clip greeblie is present high and across the outside seams of each thigh.
- The right outside thigh (to the wearer) includes a base for a holster.
Is this inward seam really something that should be present for a lvl one build? We know it is the same way on the TFA Trooper yet it has not been required.
I think such a detail could be better suited as a lvl 2 or 3 thing.

Is the bicep inner overlap really going to be required for basic? The TFA trooper had an overlap as well and it's not a requirement.

I'm usuing the Rustoleum 2x painters touch for everything. This is just the flat black. Luckily had some left over from my Shore build!

A little more progress to report!
And I'm happy to report a huge success painting my shoulder bells as the can of paint decided to spray a beautiful powder all over my bells instead of paint.

There is currently no crl for either one of those. And I would think both crls for those costumes should be completed around the same time. However you could build a TFA Fotk and be able to get approved.

I definitely will not be one of the first. But I'm happy to be one eventually, that Laser Axe has a presence.Exciting times! There are certainly a few FOTKE's in the works. I'm working on mine as an alternate to my standard FOTK.
Will be interesting to see how many are formally approved to troop at a local level until an offical CRL is created.
I would think the crl wouldn't take too long, considering the differences aren't very drastic.

A little more progress to share! Not much but I'm happy!
And I have to say I'm officially switching the gears on this build, but only slightly. Definitely building an Executioner now.

Oh yes! Fair point. I was wondering if there was something on the armor I was missing.
Only small things, e.g. the emblems on the bells should be grey rather than white.

What's not entirely accurate about the kit? What else is different from TFA to TLJ that isn't present here?TK44840 has certainly got the process started
I think Kit has to be a world first and whilst not entirely accurate it's pretty kickass!
