I did something similar to Gazmosis' method. Except i just stacked ABS to make 4 "staging areas", drilled a whole in the glued stacks, tapped them(did this according to what size machine screw i was using), glued an undrilled piece of abs on one side of the drilled and tapped staging areas(to prevent the screw from ever being overtightened and coming through the face of my helmet), then marked where the screws would go on my lens, and used a rubber washer between the lens and the screw head to keep the screw head from scratching up my lens.

No doubt, Jason. Its really not that much extra work to do either. Unless you don't do it from the beggining, then have to disassemble and reassemble. I believe we only have 3 Centurions so far down here, id love to see those number grow!

When will then, be now?

I just now finished mine after not being happy with it initially. Seeing how all of yall have taken the mod even further, its giving me the itch to disassemble and restart. But thats a whole nother can of worms lol. Hopefully will just order a hyperfirm when the time is right
-
Your making me want to completely disassemble mine and follow your build lol. I just now finished mine up

Ya know, i didnt even think about that! Good addition! Heck even a small screw would work, since you need a screw to take off the battery compartment anyways. On comes the brainstorming!

Wow this is WICKED!!!!! Great job!

Accuracy calls for elastic, but its up to you.
-
A gap is actually what ya want. The ribbed shoulder straps will cover it. You will also have white elastic connecting the chest and back plate under the ribbed shoulder straps
-
Ok thanks. I would see how the back plate fits in relation to the chest. As long as you leave maybe an 1" or so you should be okay. Just make sure your ribbed shoulder straps will cover the gap there. Figure out where those will be placed on the chest, and that should help you determine how much you really need on the shoulders.
How did you choose your TK ID?
