Small world! Now how funny is this it's your TK WIP that's inspired me to want to try for a Centurion build on my TK and your asking me if you have the skills I would say without a doubt ,as for the UKG you won't find any more info there I'm afraid . But if you want to go for it the first thing I would change is the type of wood ,I didn't think once I started It would get so involved in research and details .I would change the type of wood used I would have gone for a tulip or white wood where the grain is less evident when painted . If I can help let me know
Thanks Andy
The only things I've ever built out of wood is a table with a wonky leg and a doorstop so the prospect of building one of these makes me think I'm out of my depth but if I ever pluck up the courage I'll definitely be picking your brains!
Good luck with your armour build, hopefully see you trooping soon!

This looks awesome!

I'm thinking of starting a build but not sure if I've got the skills to pull it off.

Do you have a link to the thread on the UKG, I never saw it?

So will you actually be addressing any of the points that have been raised or are you just going to continue with the sarcasm? Thanks Vern Beezer and thanks TK 2392....sorry...not sure how to address you as it's seems you're not sure who you want to be???
Your continuing interest and support is helpful driving interest and sales....
Thanks again

Welcome! If you haven't already head over to the UKG board and say hello

Looking good trooper. Two things I can see are in the first picture your forearms are sitting quite high. Also it looks like your left shin has popped over the top of your boot. If you haven't already you can fit some poppers to your boot/shin to keep it in place.
Good luck with your application!

You'll be fine with what comes with the kit. The only thing extra I had to get was some cap rivets for the thigh ammo pack

Hello and welcome from a fellow European!

Hi Jason
You are right. If you line up the elbow end of the forearm and trim the excess plastic from the wrist end.
Once the forearm is together you can then trim the curve on the inside of the top of the forearm to get a comfortable fit.
Just taken these pictures of my RS armour that might help

If you need any pictures of anything else let me know and I can take some for you

Wouldn't think it would be a problem at all for Centurion, was just a casual observation

Looking good!

One little thing that was pointed out to me on my build that you might want to consider doing was to shorten the elastics connecting the shoulder bells to the shoulder bridge elastics bringing them into the body slightly. In my opinion it improved the overall look of the armour.

Have a read of this thread, might be some useful ideas in there for you

Hi and welcome!
It can be daunting but you're in the right place for all the tips and help you'll need! When I started my build I sat looking at my pencil lines for ages before I found the nerve to start chopping. Every cut gets easier though......

Hello and welcome!
RS Props full build question

On paper it is but it depends on how well the armour fits you too. The work that RS do is great but as I am sure you can appreciate when they are building from a set of measurements once you get the armour there might be a few tweaks here and there to ensure a perfect fit. Hope this helps!
