  1. JIM !!! Ladies and Gents.... The man himself thats responsible for making most of us sound authentic ! Great idea from all , Im just getting ready to add Jims product and will have to decide what to do, know I have 2 great ideas !
  2. I wanted to add the pic that you posted was absolutely amazing, by far the best pic I've seen after reaching this point in my building. Ap armor kicks an impolite person !!! Btw ....... Mark's customer service is better than most furniture salesman, every time I email that guy he responds promptly, he is the best cloud wizard that I've come across with armor! You rock Mark
  3. I agree !! With all of you ! I just arrived to this part of my build and these posts are the most helpful , so thank you . The only difference is that I am using a regular rivet , not a blind rivet , I figure bangong in a blind will be nothing but a pain and I can always fill a regular alloy rivet , Im painting them after all . Although I do like the 10mm spacing from the edge a bit more for the AP armor , it looks a bit more spaced out .ps........ Anaheim is about 1 week away !!!
  4. As I am reading this I am actually putting this strap procedure on my armor right now! I think I left it on the strip methods and this one looks the cleanest and the best for travel and durability. Although pretty much most of the straps methods look pretty durable. Thanks For the post Mark !!
  5. Starting my 1st build and with much experience with many types of adhesives I searched around to finally come to the conclusion that the E6000 was my final decision. Well after a few pieces and many hours later I must say that I'm very happy with the choice to go with the E6000. Of course I would've never found to use this glue if it wasn't for all these threads regarding the adhesives, so hats off to all you guys and gals! When gluing other materials together you got to check out the coolest site that I've ever seen it's called thistothat.com , simply put the material that you're bonding together against the opposite material you're bonding together and it will tell you what type of adhesive to use, it's great check it out.
  6. Very cool !! What mic tips did you upgrade to ? And where did you purchase them ? I also just purchased an AP armor kit and have to upgrade my mic tips.
  7. Well its been 3yrs....... What did you end up with for your helmet/mask ??
