  1. Hi there! Have your friend try a different browser than the one he is currently using. I have had certain browser issues when trying to sign up myself over at the MEPD, but when I tried a different one, it worked like a charm.
  2. So, I wanted to post a quick update, just in case there are any other troopers out there that are, 1. still reading this thread, and 2. looking for inspiration. Anyway, I have been dieting and exercising pretty much everyday since my last post. I have been walking/jogging 2 miles a day about 5 days a week and have been eating a low carb diet. (15 Carbs a day) I am happy to say that this morning I weighed myself and I am down 21 pounds from 240 to 219. My clothes are fitting much more loosely and I have gone up 2 notches on my belt. =D It has been a tough process, especially since the only meat protein I eat is fish. Low carb can get really boring really fast when the only meat you eat is fish, but the results are totally worth it. My mindset on food has changed and now and I look at it only as fuel for my body. Once I hit my target weight, I will slowly starting eating the foods I love again, but until then I am sticking to it.
  3. Hello everyone! As the title states I am working on a Hasbro modded E11 blaster. The blaster I bought doesn't have an LED in the barrel of the gun, only at the tip. I would really like to add one at the base of the barrel to light up the barrel when the blaster is fired. Is there anyone on these boards that could suggest an the LED that I should use and show me how I should wire it up? I would really appreciate any suggestions that can be provided. Also, the blaster makes two sounds and alternates between the two as you pull the trigger. One of the sounds is good and the other is terrible.... =/ I was wondering if it was possible to make it so that it only uses one of the sounds. Thanks!
  4. Hello again Sith Lord! Let me start by saying, your build looks great! I forgot to mention that in my first post. Anyway, I was wondering, did you move the LED that is usually at the tip of the gun, back to the rear on the barrel chamber? Its hard to tell from the pics if the LED is still in the tip of the gun. If that LED is still in the tip, did you add a second one to light up the barrel? Thanks! Greg
  5. Wow! That actually doesn't look half bad. If course, it looks better in the dark, but yeah. I have another question for you now... Do I have to buy that specific model of Hasbro blaster? I know the shape of all of the different blasters will accomidate the conversion kits, but I am specifically asking about that red light in the barrel. I noticed that there is a red tube in the barrel that lights up when you pull the trigger. Is that red barrel in all of the Hasbro guns? Thanks!
  6. Nice modded blaster! I bet the kiddos love it when it lights up and makes all those great sounds! Can we get some "in action" photos? I am considering doing the double build like you are as well and I want to see the sweet lights etc. I want to get Centurion status eventually, but also have a fun blaster to take to large events with lots of kids. =D
  7. I took the plunge last night as well and got on Rob's waiting list. Thank you Rob for providing such a great service to the community! I would also like to join Damon in thanking the members of whitearmor.net as well. All of the available information made it easy for me to pick the armor that is right for me. I can't wait to sign up for the 501st and start trooping for great causes! Greg
  8. Hello all! I stumbled upon this topic via a link from another thread that was about "large" stormtroopers. I myself am a larger person and, as soon as I can get a deposit together, will be on a waiting list for armor. The armor I am buying should be able to fit me, however, I want to get to a point where I will look great in it. I have wanted to lose weight for a long time and this just might be the perfect motivator. I actually started a diet plan two weeks ago on my own and I have lost 2 lbs. I am a male, 5'11" and 240lbs. I carry most of my weight in my mid section and thighs. My target weight would be 185, because I have a larger frame and I think that going lower than that would look unhealthy. I am glad that this thread exsits. It will really help me along the way. Greg Bellows
