  1. Oh man I felt/feel like I ask way too many questions... but no one has ever failed to be there to help me out. It really is an awesome feeling knowing there's a bunch of awesome people out there to help so don't be scared and make a build thread and just jump in! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  2. You are absolutely right it was an amazing test fit.. very fortunate for me I had a fantastic and comfortable time! I walked around my room a bit with just the thighs, shins, and boots and noticed that I needed to trim and smoothen out a part of the thighs. Other than that I found my Armour very comfortable and had an unbelievable time! Of course the other complaint was not having fans in the helmet which I am now aware that they are completely necessary! I can't imagine how much fun it is to troop with others but all the smiles and pictures I got gave me a great happy feeling!! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

  5. well for the arms i havent strapped anything down yet. thats whats next, im going to connect the bicep to the forearm. what i was asking is how does one connect the bicep to the shoulder bell? ive seen people make a hook out of a extra piece of abs and others connect them with snaps.
  6. SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK! im so happy but i have to trim some more! what do you guys think of the hook under the bicep to hold it to the shoulder?
  7. if i were to use a deglazer on my boots to take off the polish could i use any spray paint to get my boots white? then cover it up with some shoe polish finisher?
  8. its a very awkward pic but yeah its on there ha, you could barley see it.
  9. By the way these two great threads are awesome! they helped me figure out how to fix the nasty CA glue mess i made! This link informed me to not use just any glue remover on ABS plastic, And tips about what grit sandpaper to use. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25191-ca-glue-removal/?hl=%2Bglue#entry318174 This link talks about polishing and removing scratches. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19398-howto-use-novus-plastic-polish-12-and-3-ah-ah-ah-i-love-counting/
  10. do the shin straps have to be a certain length apart ?
  11. so this is when the problems start.... im so sad right now.... i really dont even know what happened... broken CA glue container Right shin.. the shin that the sniper plate does not go on....
  12. Im pretty upset ive never seen it before haha its amazing! i laughed a little too hard haha I really want to go to a big event and meet some people! im so excited im almost finished! Alright dont make fun of me... the miss match looks pretty silly but here you go. I felt the shin here comfortable and had pretty good shape to it but the lack of room in the back worries me a bit. And sure enough.. with the first couple steps the boot comes flying out from under the shin..
  13. Hey! I'm so glad my thread helped someone! And yeah ill admit I was very upset about the ears but I have since become one with the gap and have grown to love THE GAP! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  14. hahaha ive never seen this before! I am having the most difficult time fitting the shins around the boot.. it seems as tho there isnt enough plastic to fit...
  15. Looks like I'm going to have to stop being a sissy and glue some of these suckers into place!! Haha thanks for the little tutorial on the thighs. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  16. I really hope to be finished with the complete suit by the end of this week! I need to attach the sniper plate and trim the back of the shins and add strapping.... And the little things that i have been neglecting since day one... im to scared to touch them for some reason... I must trim the shoulder bells.. attach all the strapping.. trim and attach the drop boxes. trim and attach the ab plate buttons. Im not completely sure how to attach the strapping for the thighs to the belt, if anyone could help! does anyone know of templates i can print for the bucket?
  17. so i wouldnt get approved with those pieces velcroed on there?
  18. what do you guys think about velcroing this piece on? incase i want to take it off later? Including the shoulder straps, and ab pieces?
  19. wow... idk what is going on with my sniper plate.... i can not fit it properly.
  20. those are some fantastic refrences thank you! I have since trimmed down the ammo pack closer to the boxes. I have alighned them with the back as shown on the photos and here are some pictures.. now should i use regular rivits or split rivets? I aligned it where the red circles are. Here is what it looks like from the front.
  21. soo ive hit a wall... im not too sure if this is a big deal or not because Ive seen people with both... The ammo boxes on the bottom of the right thigh. Im not sure if I should align the middle ammo box with the cover strip or leave 3 boxes towards the inner thigh and 2 towards the outer thigh.. and yes i am angry at my self for not aligning the seams better. Middle ammo box aligned with cover strip. Three ammo boxes toward the inner thigh and 2 to the outer.
  22. AWESOME boots are in and white polish with other leather things all came in today... but the white shoe polish broke in the bag so they took it back with them and will let me know if i will be getting a refund or replacement later... I realized the thighs are like very big pope hats no offence to anyone!
  23. cant lie... this is the real reason I decided to build a suit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ActJTRaFezI
