How many of you guys have a pair of boots by dan111h2o? I got mine and they seem a little square in the toe. It might be the huge size I had to order for my feet.

That is a nice looking helmet. What make is it?

Welcome VT! Nice lid.

Yeah! That was fun. Long lines were part of the experience. I saw EP4 8 times that summer and it always was at least 4 hours in line. Had to be near the front.

Hey Michelle, I'm about ready to do the same thing. Let us know how it goes.

Welcome and Hi from Reno.

So you're going to be a Kiwi for a semester. Way cool. Welcome aboard.

That's a great idea. There's probably enough room in there to mount them without the holes. I did something similar with a headset from a motorola 2-way radio and my motorcycle helmet. If you crack open the casing of these particular head phones the speaker is very flat. I slipped the speaker behind the helmet padding and secured them with a dab of hot glue. It was an easy way to add 2-way communication to a helmet. Have you seen those little ear boosters they sell on TV? Their probably mono.

1) How long have you been a fan of Star Wars?
June 6th 1977. I was 11 years old.
2) What first made you a fan of the franchise/
I was a fan almost instantly after seeing it. I was up all night thinking about it.
3) What got you into costuming?
My first costume was something resembling R2-D2. It was made out of a garbage can and a baby stroller. I stuffed myself inside and made beeping sounds until I almost passed out. That was one of many Star Wars costumes I made that summer in 77. It usually involved entertaining the younger kids in the neighborhood or re-enacting the movie in the front yard.
4) What function does the Internet play in being a fan?
Although it's not required it sure puts an amazing amount of content and other fans at your fingertips. It was responsible in getting me back into costuming after a long attempt at being a so called normal person.

It wasn't life altering but I had fun. Definitly wasn't in the same league as Raiders or Crusade.

Good one! You could probably layer it under the red film. Put some space in-between the film and picture to get a little 3D effect. LOL....

That looks like that would be a fun job John.
It has it's moments. Every time I get frustrated I crawl back to my office and remind myself that I'm having fun.
Eric "DarkOne" has the noble job. My helmets off to you. There's no better job than helping children.

Keep an eye out for R2D2s leg and a battle droid in the treasure room of Akator.

I've been a game designer for International Game Technology for the last 16 years. For the last 7 years I've been designing Star Wars and Indiana Jones slot machines. Since I'm the lead designer I get my hands on just about everything that needs designing from signs, sculpts, glass (printed parts) to the video game content. I think I'm losing my mind because even though Star Wars stuff is my job I still can't get enough and now I'm building Stormtrooper armor. Having a blast though.
Here's a little video about my machines. They almost do a good job. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8898958788824333438

I design slot machines. I have a small team of myself and two 3D guys who do everything from conceptual art and design to the game graphics and the printed parts. Here's a snapshot of our latest release: http://webpages.charter.net/jgarrettg/SWMLP.jpg It's the Star Wars Multi-Level Progressives. My other games are: "A New Hope", "Empire Strikes Back", "Dark Side" and "Rebel Assault". They can be found at casinos world wide. I've also done a series of Indiana Jones games. You can probably guess what we're working on right now. I can't say since there hasn't been a public announcement yet. It's been a fantastic job working on the Lucasfilm properties.
Which clothing company do you work for? I wonder if I have any of your stuff in my closet.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm putting together my first TK armor. I hope to join the 501st when it's complete. I'm a Graphic Artist by trade and have been working on Lucasfilm licensed products for the past 6 years. If you've been in a casino recently you've probably seen my work in the form of Star Wars and Indiana Jones slot machines. I know, I know, slot machines!? Hey! it's Star Wars so how cool is that. Anyway, So far I've picked up some really cool tips and advice from reading your forums and I want to extend my thanks to all of you. See you around the forums.
-John (jgarrettg) TK???? someday soon.

Has anybody been able to contact JTB marketing group? They are listed as the agency with blocks of reserved rooms near the convention center in Chiba, on the Hyperspace website. My wife and I want to go but we are having trouble finding a decent travel package. Are you guys traveling from the states?
Greetings From The Grain Belt!
