Hey guys, I have a beautiful TE2 helmet and I want to paint my new armor to match the helmet. Does anyone know how to contact him so I can find out the exact white paint he uses on the helmets? If this helps, here is my TK helmet, which was built from Tray's kit. His kit comes with everything and Tray is 100% legit. His armor is top notch so the gear he sells is the same. The only thing I swapped out was the painted looking decals instead of the ones he provides. His are great, I just wanted the painted look. Everything else is hand painted and I used the same humbrol paints used in the films. Dark Ad Gray and Midnight Blue. I totally recommend this helmet.

There are a couple of guys in the ECG who have done that. With the dremel, it looks so clean you can't even tell the holes from the sticker unless you are close. They even put the fans there.

I hear that about the funds. When I first did my Sandie, I bought the armor first. Boots shortly after. Then, bought the backpack later, then the hyperfirm after that. I had to keep buying in phases as money allowed. I'm happy with how it turned out, but I had never even heard of AP or TE armor at the time. I knew no one in the Legion either, so I did everything on my own. I wish I had known of these boards back then. Would have saved me alot of time and bloodshed. Interestingly though, after I got the FX bucket, I KNEW instinctively that it was goofy looking. Only after seeing how large it was did I upgrade to an AP helmet. Made all the difference.

Here are some unused shot which show my side. I used white elastic on the right side and the armor is edge to edge. If these gap is too big on the left side, let me know and I'll add something. I can probably move the snap pretty easily and close it more if needed.

Thanks for the comments. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The 'strip' method adds another giant chunk of hours to the time, but it just looks so much cleaner in the end. Here are more pictures as requested. I probably won't have time to totally suit up again fro full retakes until the weekend. I'm working like 70 hour weeks and this armor took me forever at the rate I had to go. Let me know if you guys need anything else for getting approval. I like detachments like these that really make you do it right before accepting anything. It actually looks a little darker than this picture makes it look.
