  1. Greetings all, I am still in the starting stages of my NE armor build and gathering many supplies. My helmet is done and I am looking at Fan Kits. I found these online, but was not sure if this would be a good model or website to order from. The link is below: ---------
  2. I recently got my NE armor in the mail and started my build. There armor itself does run a little larger and longer in some areas. Helmet wise and other accessories I got from RS Prop Masters. RS from my experience has great costumer service and great products. I am very happy with all of the items I have received thus far.
  3. Just got my NE armor myself looking forward to see how yours turns out.
  4. Below are some pictures of my Finished RS Helmet.
  5. Wondering where to start....

  6. Greetings all, in recent postings I see that I am not the only one building the new NE armor. I just received mine in the mail the other day and plan on getting a start on it with in this next week once I finish getting supplies. Helmet wise I an RS prop master helmet done and painted. Just need to start the actual body. I don't plan on using the strap kit that came with the armor, but I do have 15 feet of Velcro if I desire to go that route, plus 8 yards of Nylon and a snap making kit. I will do my best to get pictures up as I go. My plan of attack is working from the head down. Any suggestions and pointers are greatly appreciated. I am a small guy so I will be doing a lot of trimming at first.
  7. Sadly Eastbay is out of the size I would need. Do the sizes typically fun small ?
  8. Only thing that gets me on this suit is that it covers your hands and feet as well. Would that be a problem ?
  9. I found this at a costume store, but was not sure if it meets the 501st regulation ? --------- Thanks
  10. Reason I looked on Galls is that I get a discount there. Right now I am going to concentrate on building then look more at the accessories. Thanks for the points of advice thus far.
  11. Thanks I will shoot them an email, if not do you think it is worth the try of ordering and trying the size 7 ?? I have found these tactical boots as well and wondering how these might be. (Danner tactical boot, I own a few pair of Danner boots and love them) Just not sure if these could be legion approved as well ? ----------
  12. I am hesitant at buying any boots with my small narrow feet. I wear a size 9 in Nike and a 7-8 and anything else. I know that the TK Boot website no longer has a supplier, but I found these online and wondered if these could be legion approved (see link below). I keep reading mixed reviews on if boots run big or small, which is making this a dangerous area for me. Any help/ pointers is greatly appreciated. Here is the Link: They look similar to CAB boots but again I am new and not entirely sure. ----------
  13. Thanks for the heads up and boots are a whole other issue for me as I have very small and narrow feet. Do the Boots typically run big ? If so then I know I would probably need a size 6-7 (I wear a mens 9).
  14. I have the money so I think I am going to be going with the RS prop masters, however this leads to another question I know they sell other accessories to go with the suit as well, but do I just order the armor and get other parts else where ?
  15. Hello all, I am still in my research phase on how I going to get started and I hope that I am posting in the right place. The two sellers that are sticking out to me the most are the RS prop master and T/MC. This is my first armor buy/ build so I am looking for a kit that is good for beginners, but still is a good quality armor. Material wise I am looking to do the ABS and ANH armor build. Are these to good choices ? Know that the RS prop master comes from the UK is there a large shipping charge that might come with that as well ? Thanks, Greg
