Comrades, I need your advise for my teeth trimming. I've tried to do it somewhere near the pandatrooper tutorial. But if it's need more trimming please advise.

Today I'm start trimming the outer lines of the two helmet pieces. First thing I make the magnets more hand and plastic friendly.
The trimming is a really nervous process. That is what I have now:
The thing I can't trim good is the bottom line where the faceplate connect to backplate. Is it normal? :

Do anyone know if the 3 cm width aluminum bar will be good for TD? It is about 1 3/16"

Ok, masking tape and bags off.
I'm happy with result.

First coat primer for plastic and then rustoleum flat black. Mic tips painted also.

It should be enough if not to spray directly on bags.

Sanded and masked. Ready for painting.

Initially the inside of lids are waxy and I use tough kitchen sponge and detergent to remove the slicky cover and than use 400 size sandpaper for rough surface. Than apply milliput (epoxilin on russian).

I have received the almost all of the ATA armor kit and want to start with a helmet as the main part of the kit. The first thing I'll do is the mic tips place reinforcement with epoxy milliput. Than I plan to paint the inside of two helmet parts in black with rustoleum flat black color paint.

I see the paint has cracked on place. Too thick layers or not enough drying between the layers?

TKBoots is no longer make the boots and the people start painting themselves more often
Actually it is not difficult, just need the right boots preparation and ... go ahead painting.

I've bought a transparent creamy boots sponge and overlay the boots. I'm sure It totally becomes the real tkboots

Paint the elastic by brush. Much better, see the difference:

Just wear its on. The paint is awesome - no cracking or something wrong, just like a real leather shoes from the store. Do anyone knows if I should to cream the boots? Or lets it scuffed themselves for CRL requirements?

And there are no problems with untouching of masking tape, just pull it off carefully.
So, lets calculate my expenses: sorry for mislead by above mentioned "about 40$", it was GBP
So it's a bit higher price in USD.- 68$ - Boots
- 5,5$ - paint finisher
- 8,75$ - paint
- about 20$ - other stuff - acetone, alcohol, cleaner for airbrush, masking tape.
Totally ~ 100$

Putting on the finisher to one of the boots, see the difference:
It gives more precious look. Not a super gloss but perfect shine which is good for any boots.

The elastic inserts make me depressed. They are not getting white at whole. I see I paint it white, but after minute it appear black again, absorbing the paint...May be its need to soak completely with paint.

About 4-5 times. Just finished the second run - and it is plus 3 layers about. That's enough. Pretty good looking. Will wait for tomorrow and cover with angelus finisher #600. Lets see what happened. Now the boots are too matte.
By the way, a can say how much paint were spent - it is 26 ml and 52 ml of rubbing alcohol accordingly

Hope that thin layers achieved by airbrushing will be durable enough... lets see.

The other thing I found is that the lens is not fully adjoin to inner eyes line. Even if pushing the lens from the sides. Is it normal?
