  1. I don't have belt yet and can't try it. But it fit my jeans very well Anyway it could be bent anytime to fit the belt. That is what I got finally:
  2. I want to make the separate thermal detonator build topic as it could be useful for anyone searching the building of this costume element exactly. Of course it could be found in any costume build, but it need page-to-page surfing and may take a long time. ATA kit comes without pipe piece, so it was a great challenge for me to get the 60mm outer diameter PVC pipe. In Russia there are 50, 63 and then 110mm standards pipe sizes only. Anyway I found 25cm length of appropriate pipe and that was enough for this purpose. I use masking tape for cutting the pipe to the right length - 7,5'' (~19cm) First time the caps worn tight, so I use dremel sanding drum for making angle side of the pipe ends by the length of the caps. It allows to put on the caps easier. Checking the total length with caps on: Cutted and fitted the control panel I use the TK_LEPER video guide of how to make the TD clips, very very useful. Actually this is the one source where you can just follow his hands and you can get not a bad clips. Of course not so perfect like he doing HERE is the link to his topic with video reference. So, as I said, I just follow his hands and using almost the same tools. Two strips 10'' length, 1'' wide. The thickness should be 1mm or 1,5mm, but I found only 2mm thikcness at my local store. It require applying more force for bending but not a problem with vices. Also I have paint the pipe with humbrol grey using the airbrush. Bending and cutting out the ends to fit the canister: Here it is: Glued panel using E6000. Be careful with glue and apply glue far from the edge so it not go beyond the edges. Glue dissolves paint and paint slides. Have to touch up again. Now I just paint the bolt heads in black color and will post the photo with result soon.
  3. If you are talking about mold forming board line, yes, looks like it is need to cut more. See my fit:
  4. Ok, the helmet is done. I'm going make another topic by my ATA armour building. I'll see you around
  5. Now I'm on TD work too. I use Lexan scissors for curved side, it goes well. Also I use the masking tape before cutting. It helps me to see where the line will go after. It is need for caps to be on the tube already, this way it is easier to adjust the panel and cut the right once.
  6. Hey Soren! Nice to see you in armour! The armour is top accuracy and you are looking very impressive. Hope my ATA build will be something like this. Wish you quick approval!

    E-11 Blaster

Has been already discussed about this ebay blaster. See more HERE.
  8. My squad prepares helmet before polishing.
  9. Thanks thanks But all of the things I did in this thread I have just collected from many other helmet build threads from this forum. I just took the details of what I want to apply for my helmet build
  10. And I just finished the lining fine tune using the rest of my knee guards. Now the helmet sitting tight on my head. I can turn my head sharply, tilt and nod very well.
  11. Look simple. Will do such way if I'll choose the Hasbro conversion. Thanks for sharing Glen!
  12. Trying to do the best as you have done with your Centurion armor build I'll use your threads as tutorial for mine. By the way, how you make the E-11 blaster with lights effect?
  13. I have bought a patch for the flyscreen mesh, which is about 12cm*10cm dimensions. It fits very well. It was gray color and I just paint it with black matte acrylic paint. First fit with double side tape, later I will just glue on the mesh to the helmet for better durability: Also cut the ears bolts to normal length.
  14. Does the frown mesh should be metal or not? It's not come with ATA kit, so I need to find improvised material.
  15. Installing the neck trim, strapping and top lining. I use a knee guard which solds in personal protection equipment store. Also it is my first attempt of using E6000. So stinky
  16. I think I'll order the Echo's fan bracket system, it is very good looking thing.
  17. The helmet exterior is almost done (no neck seal installed yet and unpainted ear bolts). Lets moving to the interior.
  18. Mic tips installing. The left one I drilled promptly, but the right mic tip hole I drilled three times Any way all the extra holes are covered by wide washer from the inside and the mic tip base by the outside.
  19. The painting work has almost done (except the ear bolts which I will paint later with white marker)
  20. Let it be the one stripe on each ears. Less paint
  21. The same preparation and painting the right side blue stripes:
