Armor Master - NE ANH Stunt build
evoxpilot replied to evoxpilot's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Thanks, so just to make sure I did a quick retest fitting of the ab and the kidney plate and I can do the recommended trimming in the pic above with a little additional weight loss it should be well fitted. However does the right side need a trimming as well? It has a 25mm edge on it similar to the above sans the corner cut out illustrated above. -

So shimming the right side with some matching abs. Example, http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/12478-howto-easily-make-your-fx-armor-eib-acceptable/ Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 4 -

Here are a couple more pics. I moved this stuff out since I need some room to finish the body parts and the helmet. -

Given my preliminary disaster with the thighs, I made sure all was done correctly (especially with some additional guidance from you and some others). The drop boxes move thankfully. I should really reposition everything again and redit this post to prevent heart attacks! Per your note, I trimmed on the belt and included the 45 degree angles, closed the boxes in the back and hung them with velcro that is attached with rivets. Last step on the belt, assuming this is correct, is attaching some snaps to the back of the belt to attach to the front of the abdomen. -

Some of the finished and close to finished parts. Biceps need inner shims added after another test fit. -

Regarding the helmet the left side will have a gap at the top and another gap along the base of the ear. Maybe in the market for pair of ears/ comms shortly. On a better note, the sniper plate looking good: Right thigh battery pack trimmed to be rounder. -

Thanks I appreciate the time you spent reviewing the build! I hope that helps me to one day get to Centurion. I completely overlooked that detail since my mind is blown with this helmet! -

Please share pics that would certainly help. I may have a significant gap on the left but given the lessons learnt I plan to improve the right side. Thanks for the top on the rivet. This is a challenge. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 4 -

Question on the belt, is this button large? It maybe, based on the reference photo located here: http://www.whitearmor.net/fisd/CRL:ANH-Hero#/-1/ button belt pic: however, I do not want to cut too much and end up limiting my ability to get a higher certification (assuming all else is acceptable) thanks! -

Belt and drop boxes: Drop boxes are on and the battery pack attached to the belt. I used the following as references on the build including the screen captures. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/34-howto-attach-your-belt-to-the-ab-plate-and-drop-boxes/ http://www.whitearmor.net/fisd/Tutorials-belts -

Helmet pics taken during a little helmet sizing and measuring using the following link as a visual reference. helmet link: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/2426-tutorials-anh-hero/ and some guidance from heavyarms at this link seems to be helpful in avoiding some issues: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23893-samurais-ne-armor-build/page-2 -

This armor is TrooperGear NE (fka AM). Fun today included: - Used E6000 to glue the top and the back of the helmet together to stage the next step which is to cut and fit the face, back side of the helmet and the ears. For the Hovi Mics, I read that the inside is white and the outside is painted flat black. The TG NE armor comes with unpainted hovi mics that are silver in color. - Staged the belt and the detonator, however I have not clips to fasten to the belt. The aluminum clips seem to be hard to purchase from this site recently. - Both shins have a shim on the front! Pics of the shins: -

Thanks for the detail on the build and the parts extremely helpful. On the second attempt with the ears, did you trim, fit, repeat slowly? They seem difficult to fit the curve. -

Helmet Below is a pic of all the components that came with the three piece helmet. Seems ominous and challenging. I know the title of this build is AM NE Stunt but it should read NE Hero I think. I am looking through some other builds of these three piece helmets to get a game plan together. Hopefully all this stuff will get me to centurion assuming I build the rest correctly.
