I'm assuming that a deal has been struck Chris?
-
Looks good to me. Good job Allan.
As Shawn said, a couple of little things, but they won't stop your approval I shouldn't think.
-
Then aint we both content Lachlan.

Notice "Kit 02A" written on the inside? Seems its recasted from that amour set.
Something people probably should be aware of with the amount of money he's asking.
You didn't seem so discerning when you recast AP.....

Mate, for all the trouble it's been, it has come up a treat!
Glad to been of assistance

The width is very good and I like the thickness. Is it a white? Off-white? The pic makes it look slightly gray.
It's an off-white. But it has been sitting in a dusty shed for some while. I'll be running it thru the machine a few more times yet.
And I just sprayed a sample of it with the white shoe dye paint and there isn't that great a color difference.

I recently came across some heavy duty webbing at work, and when I saw it I though it looked perfect for the smaller width ROTJ belt.
It is 60mm wide and over twice the thickness of standard polypropylene webbing.
I'll be replacing my current 50mm belt with this stuff this week, and will get some more pics up then.
Let me know what you think.

Good looking armor Gordon. 'Grats on your EIB .
-
Like Paul said, it looks like it's just a matter of changing the Hovis. The rest looks pretty sharp.
-
Thanks again everyone
Great job on the trifecta. Most impressive! You have set the bar. Congratulations on spanning the original trilogy
I'm spanning more than just the original Trilogy. I now have the complete set.

Thanks everyone. I've been at Sales/Production Meetings the last 2 days so although I could log in and browse, I couldn't touch Well not without having my phone thrown out the window.
So thanks again everyone, it has taken longer than I originally planned, with the delay in shipping of the trim, but it has been worth the wait.
Cheers

That is a very nice Armor, hell yes . Big congrats. Regarding the helmet, I would suggest to extend the frown a little futher to the lips and paint it again in black matte, no gloss paint. same thing for the vocorder, then will be dead on.
Cheers
A
I can do that Armando. I wasn't sure if it was satin or matte, so playerd it safe with the satin
You say much better, its blumin fantastic. What a difference now this suit looks like its straight out of the Star Wars Dictionary (You know the Picture im sure) Im going to say it again, fantastic. Thanks Pete. Yeah thats the look I was after , and I wanted to paint the ab buttons the same way, but wasn't sure it would be granted EIB, even tho there are suits with that pattern in the movie.

Going for the trifecta now.
TE2 armour, TE ROTJ helmet.
Bad hair day...
-
New pics with calves, thighs and ab dropped. Biceps are also as low as they can go now. I think it looks much better - thanks Pete
Time to bother Terrell again ...
-
Nice job Jason, ESB EIB approved.
Thanks XO, but don't put that rubber stamp away yet
Great job! I am envious of the sun and green trees you are experiencing right now while I am in the snow and glum of February!A week ago everything was brown. We've just come out of a serious heat wave with temps up to 129F. Then we had 2 inches of rain over the weekend.

Thanks all
"MOM! That weird guy with the wagon wheel in the yard is at it again!" "Just ignore him, son" lolLooks great, Jason.
Everyone in town has come to accept what I am now, all 150 of them
Tho this pic from 12 months ago had them wondering...
-
Yep, I can see what you're talking about Pete. I have shimmed the calves so they sit down over the boots properly now, which will allow me to drop the thighs and ab now as well.
I'll try to get some shots side by side for comparison.
-
Thanks Paul. After 9 costumes the wife should have the hang of it by now. Going to have to train one of the kiddies up so I can get a pick of Amanda and I together.
-
I can see what you're looking at but I think it might just be a reflection.
Nothin' but black

I have made all the swap outs on my ANH AP kit for this version.

Hangin' with the Dark Lord

oohhh yes thats how it should be done, fantastic work there trooper ROTJ all the way with this one 100%
Its no good hanging in the window "GET IT ON"
You got it!!
Left greave is a little small, may need to replace it later. And the shoulder bridges are a bit on the short side I think. Was thinking of maybe lengthening them by half again so they sit closer to the top of the back plate.
Time to see what the Deployment Officer thinks
-
Thanks Shawn. I'm quite happy with it.
As for the shoulder straps - velcro front and back. Though I am wondering if my straps will be long enough to get the right look.
-
Yeah, I wasn't quite sure. I thought maybe the trim would go round the whole piece in one go. Doesn't matter, it's on.
Planning on getting the boots tomorrow, finish some of the strapping, then it's time to get it on.
