Anyone who is thinking of ordering and will be at Celebration should go to ANOVOS' booth. I was told that there will be discounts for ordering things at the booth. I'm not 100% sure this armor is included in that, but it's definitely worth the time to find out.

I'm flying Southwest to Celebration and have been thinking about bringing my Hyperfirm with me, but I wasn't sure if that would get my luggage flagged. Anyone here ever have any issues with an E-11 in their checked luggage? Should I just leave it at home?

I have an ATA kit I'm working on now, but I really want to get this. I can't believe all you get for the kit price! I could always make my ATA helmet ESB. :-D

Everytime I try to start this project, something seems to come up. Tonight, it was a missing dremel. :-p
It was found eventually, but there wasn't a lot of time before bed, so I only got to cut out the eyes from my bucket. But at least I can say I've officially made my first cut. The eyes still need sanding and might need a little extra taken off. I'll leave with these pictures for your inspection:

I'm really sorry it's been so long since my last post. Had a bit of a family emergency here, so I haven't been able to work on my armor at all. I have next week off work, so I'm going to attempt to start it.
I have a question about drop boxes. I've noticed that there have been ATA applications for Centurion that used inner drop boxes from other vendors. My kit has four box pieces that I assumed to be inner and outer drop boxes. Is this incorrect? Or do the ones provided by ATA not pass muster? I just want to know if I need to get a set.

I've got a question:
I'm planning on using the bracket system to put my armor together, but was wondering about how it might fit in the future if I were to lose weight since I've been exercising more. If the armor ever gets a little big on me, is it easy to disassemble and trim, or will I not be able to adjust it? Is there a certain glue I should use on the thighs, calves, etc. that would allow me to shrink it later on?

Thanks, everyone! And my Hyperfirm has arrived! I'll need to install a D-ring and tone down some of the brass.

Hi all! My ATA kit arrived this past Friday, so I wanted to get my WIP thread started. I'll be aiming for Centurion throughout my build, so if you see any mistakes I'm making, or have any advice, please speak up!
So far I have:
ATA armor and helmet kit
TK boots
Karin's rubber hand guards
pipe for the thermal detonator
compression shirt and pants
I also have a hyperfirm e-11 on it's way.

I was just on the boards looking for information, when I came across this thread. Congrats! Way to represent the OG!

Hello! I can't really comment on the stormtrooper questions as I do not have an approved set of armor yet, but I would like to suggest signing up on the Ohio Garrison boards. There are members who are local to you that you can talk with. And maybe you can meet up at a troop to get a close look at their armor.
Go to Ohio501st.com and introduce yourself in the Introduction thread. It's under the General Discussion section.

Thanks, everyone! And gmrhodes13, good luck with your build. Which mask did you end up with? I'm hoping to upgrade to a Godzilla one day, but not until I finish these other costumes.

Hi, all! My name is Melissa, and I'm a Tusken Raider in the Ohio Garrison. I'm currently working on an Imperial Guard and TIE Fighter costume, but eventually want to try my hand at an ESB Stormtrooper as well. I have been on these boards for quite a while reading over information, but I just realized I never introduced myself. So, sorry about that. Looking forward to talking to you guys more.

I was told that delays were due to where the stuff was being made. They are working on getting another place in the US to hopefully speed things up. They are a VERY small company, so keep that in mind too.
