  1. What under armor variant would you guys recommend? I'm looking at the Reebok cold weather compression right now, but I just want to hear what you guys use!
  2. My first MMO was UO. My dad bought it for me Christmas of 1997 because he thought it sounded 'different', which it was! It's still my all-time favorite MMO. I was on the Sonoma server, and played on OSI servers for about ten years. I occasionally still dabble in the UO Hybrid player-made shard. SWG is also one of my favorites. I loved the skill system. The guild city element was awesome! I played that for a long time, until they nerfed it and released the combat upgrade and the NGE. WWII Online was another one I loved! It was buggy as hell, but I couldn't get enough of it!
  3. Good luck, Aidan! I spent four years in the Navy, and don't regret one minute of it. Deployments were met with periods of extreme boredom cut with moments of sheer terror, the bonds you'll make while enlisted will be timeless, and the positives without a doubt outweigh the negatives. If you're single, the military is amazing. If you're married with a family, deployments can be rough. If you have any questions feel free to shoot them my way!
  4. I'm trying to solve this from all angles. I have a dialogue going with USPS, and I was attempting to start a dialogue with Doopydoos. The only way I could get Doopys to respond to my inquiries was to file a paypal report. They said they'd be willing to either send another kit, or refund my money. So, I suppose it's settled. But they're filing a report with their postal service, and it could take months. No complaints though, as long as it gets sorted out.
  5. They finally got back to me and told me to get in contact with the postal service. Which I have already done. I've called USPS for two weeks straight now, four times a week, and have talked to the same representative. And that representative told me to go ahead and file a paypal report. That says something!
  6. Had to file a paypal report today. I was holding back, but it's almost been 45 days since the transaction and I had no other choice. I've e-mailed doopydoos about four times, and haven't received any response. I hope this gets sorted out!
  7. Still no package. It's almost been 30 days since I made the payment. The tracking says 'Depart USPS Sort Facility' in Jacksonville, FL six days ago. I'm getting worried. Might have to start a Paypal complaint ticket in a few days if the kit doesn't show up on my doorstep.
  8. I waited a few weeks after ordering my kit to see if I'd receive a shipping notification. Patiently I waited, knowing that they probably make them per order. I e-mailed them asking when it would ship, and I got a reply back basically saying, "Oops, I thought I already sent that." The next day they sent the kit, and I still haven't received it...BUT it says it's at the local post office and has been for about 3 days waiting to get delivered.
  9. I just received in e-mail about ten minutes ago saying my order status is 'DISPATCHED'. I'm assuming that means its starting the shipping process!
  10. How long does it generally take for an order to ship once the money has been withdrawn from your account? My quest to join the legion is making me a much more patient man
  11. I e-mailed them yesterday and Casey got back to me within 20 minutes. Must have just gotten lucky. I ordered my kit five days ago...and I have to tell you, after scrubbing through endless threads about the full E11 kit being damaged in shipping...I'm getting quite nervous. Is that a normal occurrence? Should I expect broken pieces when my kit arrives?
  12. Great thread, Juan! I definitely dig it! The name is Greg, I'm 26 years old, and currently live in Jacksonville, Florida (have been for nearly 14 years). I'm currently on the waiting list for ATA, and gathering/assembling all the other necessary pieces for my TK in the meantime. I've been wanting to join the ranks for the 501st for nearly a decade now, and am finally taking the leap thanks to Squad 7 and particularly Wolfgar's extreme help and advice. I seem to have extreme social anxiety, so taking this leap has been a major milestone for me! Haha. I got out of the Navy last year, so if you want to talk about the perks and such of military service, be sure to toss your questions my way Juan! I'd be glad to answer them. I enjoyed my military service solely because of the people, the bonds you build with those who have your back no matter what is unbreakable. The missions, meh, we won't go into that. I'm currently enrolled in college, using the GI Bill, and pursuing a career (at the moment, you never know when my ambitions will change) in education...with the goal of becoming a high school history teacher. I am an avid PC gamer. My fascination with online PC gaming truly started with the first Diablo game. I would log onto Battlenet with our 56k modem, and have a blast with my buddies. I then moved on to Ultima Online, which I still dabble in, and still consider it the perfect template for a solid MMO...despite it's Sega Genesis-like graphics. I've been playing Company of Heroes since 2007, and play it almost on a nightly basis with my buddies who have moved around the nation. I'm also playing Red Orchestra 2, which is an awesome WW2 style online FPS. Other than that, nothing has really gripped my attention. I'm waiting for 'Heroes and Generals' to be released...which shows great promise (I loved WWII Online). I enjoy my coffee black, and my beer dark. I look forward to receiving my armor once I'm next-up on the waiting list, and trooping with everyone!
  13. Impossible! I'm marking days off of the calender like I did when I was on deployment!
  14. Just now got on the waiting list about fifteen minutes ago. Time to wait!
