You have come to the right place. If you really want it there is work involved but that makes it more yours since you built it. Shop around and if you have any more questions don't be shy because we are here to help a fellow Trooper.

[Where do I get vacuum forming materials?]

You have to hunt around to find the abs in your area, check with larger hardware strores. As for a bucket I would do it in the way I have seen it done several diffferent pieces. You probably get a sharper and more defined shape. I could be wrong but check out all the tutorials you can get your hands on. You really don't want to make to much of an expensive mistake, especially if you don't have lots of funds to try.
