  1. Tk 6782 outer rim garrison for some reason it’s not showing up in the search bar but, I screen shot my census info
  2. I also used a welder brand plastic welder to melt the plastic around the eye and the tank. Here is the link to the album but there really aren't many more shots and the lid in it I didn't end up using http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/580208365XrhZHD?start=24
  3. I think if you click on the pictures you can get a bigger view on the site they are hosted on. As for the boots they use a regular old boot as the base then I followed this tutorial http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=903 for putting vinyl overtop. The blaster holes do look great and the best part they are removable ( except the tank one of course) and all the paint is washable. I actually got the idea for using the toilet paper from one of the posts in the deathtrooper section here and figured it was worth a shot. I just put down white craft glue for the base on the armor then ripped up tiny pieces of toilet paper and later they down on the glue base. I then almost immediately started with my painting. I painted with black first then added splashed of the red. After I painted the holes I loaded the brush with paint and used my finger to brush the bristles causing the spray. Just a note when I say it's all washable its tested on my armor only. I know the paint does not wash off the spray painted surfaces so make sure you test it first. If anybody wants pictures of specific areas let me know and I can take bigger ones.
  4. as per requests from friends I added a bit more gore... here is the finished project melted a hole in the hump and added a set of flashing led lights (red, yellow, green) I placed circuit boards from my old ps3 inside as well added more blood as thats what people kept wanting. for the blood on the lid I used watered down red and let it drip down the helmet so it would follow its own natural path. I had to do a couple coats to get it dark enough. well let me know what you guys think any tips, or suggestions?
  5. weathered the cummberbund just rubbed it in grass and dirt but I am definitely going to try the tea trick. made some boots added weathering blasted the helmet a bit now just need to buy zome zombie contacts and zombie makeup to wear under the helmet.
  6. so I decided to make a cummberbund to go with the zombie since I didn't want to wreck one of mine. I have had no sewing lessons or anything like that just things I have learned on my own, so this was quite the challenge. This was my first attempt and I just stared and measured my old one and figured it out best I could. It looks pretty decent for a first attempt but having done it once if I ever have to do it again there are definitely some changes I would make. Great for a zombie though! I used an ivory coloured fabric because it looked more weathered and old then the nice shiny white. the main body of the cummberbund was actually quite easy to make. I then took a look at the pockets and almost quit on the spot but, having far too much time left in the day to go to bed I started making my own pattern for then based on the other pockets I have. They turned out better then I thought they would and I am quite pleased so after about four hours Voila! a Cummberbund! Again for a first attempt I am very pleased at how it turned out. I have sewn the pockets onto the main body as I hate how mine use velcro. here is is compared to my other one next step weathering it... any tips for that?
  7. Hey guys I hoep you don't mind me posting a Biker scout here but, we are having a local zombie walk and I was thinking a biker scout might be fun to do as I have never seen one done before. Just arrived today, the SC armor seconds. its a complete set including the helmet but without the strapping. Should make fo an interesting build. Okay here is the weathering and addition of blaster holes into the chest plate. I'm not too sure if I like the green in the weathering so I may wash that off and start over, and I need to make the grooves a bit darker with weathering if I keep it. I am also not sure if I want to do just a clean trooper who has recently been killed. If I do it this way then I don't have to worry about making cummberbund and boots that match. I have also decided to use the rubies bucket that I have instead of the SC one that I have been working on as the SC one is a lot more comfortable. Anyways let me know what you think The weathering is just water soluble acrylic craftsmart paint from Michael's cost $0.69 a bottle. I used spanish olive, black, and wine to add a small amount of blood colour to the holes. I used watered down paints and a rag to apply the colour then again dabbed the colour with the rag everything on there can be easily removed with the exception of the weathering on the forearms, I had a coat of white spray paint on them previously and the weathering wont come off of those. For the blaster holes/marks I used white glue and toilet paper and painted it black.
  8. haha I was just curious guys. I am not a big fan of it anyways. Thanks for the replies.
