There is no way to ajust the volume on your Icomm, but, if you put your mic on your lips, almost in your mouth lol, your voice will be much louder and the static burst will be perfect.

If I had my time again I would go straight for TM

I would suggest the plastic piece is not formed properly around the armor, may need some heat, if it has any spring in it then it will pop off what ever you use

I own an AP and you can straighten it but it takes a LOT of messing around...and a heat gun over the RH edge (facing away from you) to recorrect the bend that makes it sit crooked....I'll try and post pix so to help visualize what I'm referring to...probably will post pix tomorrow...just got home from work and am beat...

Vern,
Your knowledge and know-how is an inspiration to us all...I for one know I can come to you with a question and you'll provide me with an accurate, no nonsense style answer that I grew up appreciating...next time I'm up north would love to connect with you...

Not really, AP isn't the cheapest armor around afaik and, in my case, I only got it because I could have it in a matter of a few weeks instead of several months, I'm an impatient one lol.
Btw, it indeed lacks the return edges on the back/butt plate but that didn't stop me from using the bracket system instead of the screws. It worked out nice and holds great

Hey Mate,
Can you post some pix of the back/butt plate with the bracket system...Would love to see how it looks...

There has been talks about making an award for 100% replica suits that are not tied into 501st, something independent that non-501st members also could achieve. But that has been on ice for a long time now.
As for AP and an 100% replica award, that would be "sucks to be you".
...That's why I'm looking to Paul (Troopermaster) the next time I buy armor...

Mate, I think your L Thigh cover strip is too long....from the pix I've seen it stops (about an inch) before the bottom....check some pictures on this site to verify...other than that it looks great !

Great idea...I love the innovations found here !!!

AP Armor has a one piece kidney/butt plate that has to be physically separated leaving no return edge to attach screws....trying to add a return edge would be considerable and possibly destructive work to your armor if the mod went wrong just for the sake of adding screws . Although I agree with the idea of a screen accurate bracket/strapping system for Centurion Level there are some armor makers such as AP who I previously listed that this would be a challenge for....and they are screen derived.
Ultimate screen accuracy is ideal but then does the armor have to ultimately be screen derived for authenticity/accuracy or fan made because of its look and better appearance ?
And don't forget Paul they did have duct tape holding pieces together on some troopers...and calves on the wrong legs and other things you're probably more aware of than me that don't look so great.....
I'll look you up for some armor Paul when I'm residing in Australia next...I'll let you know when...
